I think that now it’s clear MoP is a failure, we should get more development time directed at Classic to fix small things wrong in the game. I say Classic because I don’t consider MoP classic. Classic ends with Wrath.
Maybe now that it’s obvious MoP is going nowhere we can get things fixed in Classic WOW on the Anniversary servers.
Things like:
Fix AV exploit alliance are doing where they can pull all the warmasters and keep them out of the boss room indefinitely
Make it harder to get to bosses in AV. Put an invisible wall or something so you have to take out the towers before you can go in the boss room
Fix AQ20 exploit everyone is doing where you can just kill the last boss and not do his mechanics at all
Add more places to get herbs like plaguebloom like you did for black lotus to help supply of the herb. It’s very hard to farm because you can’t get it in any instance like dreamfoil or gromsblood. It’s also only available in one zone. The supply is too low for this herb and causing high prices on the things that require it. The same goes for mountain silversage. There isn’t enough nodes and the respawn is too slow
Ban mage boosting in dungeons in preparation for TBC and for he final phase of classic. The mages have had enough fun. Time to fix this obvious issue in classic
Crack down on gold sellers and buyers. Even though RMT is low it never hurts to punish gold sellers and buyers for breaking rules
Ban world buffs in raids. TBC is going to do this anyway just do it now and get it over with
Start removing addons like you are doing in retail. Start limiting the API to reduce logging and all the degenerate behavior associated with it
Anniversary is great already but these extra fixes will make it even better. The best and biggest classic community on Anniversary will appreciate your attention.
Almost double the raiders. Lil sis, you can’t always go full bot mode. I know that’s what the forum expects from you, even yourself at this point, but you gotta try and mix it up a bit
No, I just have a anti-social bias towards facts rather than assumptions.
Believe what you want, but until you turn up some real evidence that ironforge numbers represent a meaningful proxy measurement of WoW usage it’s just a guesstimate.
Take if for what it is. Don’t try to accrue more credibility to your argument than it really warrants.
Like, I don’t have a horse in this race but it seems a bit early for not only doom posting, but doom posting by quoting another doom poster.
The fact of the matter is, MoP has exactly one data point on IFP thus far, which is way too early to infer any kind of trend with regards to its population. I’m all for Classic (preferably Classic+) budget, but let’s not spread misinformation based on wild assumption.
Also…
This just doesn’t matter. They’ve already increased herb supply several times over the course of Classic’s lifetime. It just means bots will camp it harder and have more supply. The only solution here is to employ the retail style approach of making herbs instanced for a period of time after first loot so other players can pick them up.
Bots/farmers can still farm them but so can other players. Now you have a choice if you want to farm them yourself.
I think the thing that is the most clear is that people will complain about anything and everything. Lots of people said MoP PVP would be BiS, and now some are complaining specifically about MoP PVP! (esp. 2s for some reason).
In any case though, I am not against more attention to Classic, though I’d be more in favor of undoing any changes that have been made than adding even more changes.
