The trending posts thing made me chuckle a little. Yeah…it’s probably safe to say that there’s not a whole lot going on over there if something like this has taken over the trending feed.
As to the profits, yeah, they made some serious bank today. For them, this has been nothing but a financial success.
Personally, I’ve decided to toss it on a credit card and then kinda hate myself for a couple of months.
I haven’t really been paying attention to the playable races, but what I have seen is Dornogal looking like Jurassic Park. The only thing that was missing was a 90s Jeep and 2 stunned paleontologists sitting inside.
This clown really thinks its ok for blizzard to keep doing this? These posts show who obviously didn’t get these mounts when current and now that blizzard gives them away for free or dirt cheap makes them cool enough to talk sh!t… Blizzard isn’t dropping the ball they are putting a wrecking ball through the game and community with this garbage. I wont keep spending ridiculous amounts of time/gold to have blizzard piss in my cereal anymore. I busted my @ss for these mounts and NEVER would have put a fraction of the time into farming them knowing this would eventually happen. Yes its a game and people have a different opinion on “wasting time” but for how much I put into farming those MOP, TCG and Bruto mounts I am legit pissed off. You bet your @ss I would want a refund on all that wasted gold, I could have purchased Mythic raid gear / mounts but I spent it on mounts that NO ONE ever saw becoming a hand out to cry babies who didn’t earn them the legit way like the pissed off people did. And to be brutally honest this will most likely hurt them long term because people that play the game “like me” ONLY sub to farm old content for rare mounts and now I have no incentive to to it because I can be 2000 Gul’dan kills in and one day Blizzard will be like “Hey guys we added the Infernal mounts to a vendor as we seen a couple of posts of people crying they killed it 13x and didn’t get em” but to those who have thousands of kills you can basically go fu*k yourself. No ty, this game is complete trash now. And that’s not even getting into the bugs and imbalances the game has and is just NOW being addressed cause Beta started on launch day and we tested for Blizzard with our money. Amazing how in such a short amount of time I went from loving wow even after /years played to absolutely hating it and wishing someone would rip all the servers out and light them on fire.
LOL I love it …I love all players that are mad now cause they spent real money back in BfA to amass 5 million gold to the tune of about $800 real dollars they spent to buy gold tokens to boost up their gold …I am not mad that for less then 2 Million gold thousands of players now can have a Long Boi they wanted but couldn’t afford or could now but damn Blizzard removed it from the vendor at the End of BfA…I still not happy about that removal either.
I have the org Long boi and I plan on buying this new one too guess what I can afford it with gold again too…I dropped 5 million in BfA …I can afford 2 million now…I amass my gold during WoD and Legion …I don’t sell boosts or depend on a guild selling them to make gold I make my gold the old fashion way I work the game for it…and still working the game for it…day 1 of TWW in less then 2 hours I made over 150K selling the new Battle pets…I was sitting on 42,000+ Pet Battle Charms …easy to buy a bunch of new ones up and sell them right away before players got the main new city…still selling them too not as much but they are making nice bank for me…
You really need to face the reality that without shop mounts such as this and ones we’ve had in the past the sub price would have gone up years ago.
Pick your battles man. I mean which way do you want it a forced sub increase that you have to pay or an optional storm out that you don’t have to pay for it all if you don’t want it
I would much rather there be optional items in an in-game shop to keep the sub price from Ever Changing
Yeah. idk. If this was all… just the shop mount - I’d be more like “Ehhh. Oooo-kay”
But when you couple this with the hard push to convert 6 month sub people to 1 yr subs, they seem to be dragging for a hard cash infusion.
One or the other, and I’m leaning towards MS making sure that the acquisition looks profitable. But both? Seems extreme and begs the question: what’s going on internally?
On the flip side, with the left hand not knowing what the right is doing in most companies, you could equally argue that it’s a coincidence.
Honestly I couldn’t care less either way go ahead and raise the subs or introduce cash cow mounts like this. Blizz fans will lap it all up like they always do.
I did not have the gold for the first AH mount so I bought the whole thing with over $800 in tokens, and I am not upset in the least that they made this available for $90. I am happy for the people that missed out the first time. I knew from the start it wouldn’t retain its value. It’s a digital item. It has no value other than what I see it in for myself.
