People are whining and Blizz is looking at the numbers. They know this thing is going to sell like hotcakes, and they know most of you are eventually going to break down and buy it. Just be grateful they didn’t make it $400 because then you’d be stressed out about finding a way to buy the mount and make your car payment.

The last AH mount cost 5 million gold. Do the math on that and I’m pretty sure it eclipses the $90 they asking for the new mount (plus mailbox) by a large margin. Doing the math, the old one would have cost roughly $321 in today’s gold prices. $20 per token. Token going for 311,195 gold on our AH.
$90 is a deal when you think about it.

You can buy 6 tokens at 311K right now and turn that into $90 dollars in your bnet balance and buy it that way…that is only about 1.8 million or so in gold you need to spend…

I bought it. I figure I am a consenting adult with a job which will allow for luxury purchases once in a while. Self control has allowed me to splurge when I feel like it. My left brain tells me it’s just an assortment of pixels, but my right brain says, “But it’s just so cool!” Some of my buddies bought at least some of the 5 million cost of the BFA one with tokens. This one is cooler than the BFA bruto, so what the hell… Get along little dino!!

Yep if you use your gold to buy tokens to put too your battle net balance its going to run about 1.9 million or so depending on cost of the wow tokens you use to put $15 dollars to your bnet balance each they do …only need 6 tokens to get $90 on your bnet balance.

They’ve been consolidating threads and posts from other threads all day into the single, gigantic dumpster fire we are posting in now. I know this because I’ve had a few posts moved around. They are clearly aware of what’s going on. Guessing they are also aware that deleting the thread and refreshing it would only fan the flames.

I just saw this mount on the blizzard store and thought “hey, this looks cool” then saw the 90 dollar prise tag. No thanks blizzard.

You can buy it with gold now …if you have about 2 million gold you can convert that into real cash to your Bnet Balance…each token you buy you can put $15 dollars on your bnet account only takes 6 tokens to do it if you do it now …

Well I decided to check Twitter out of curiosity and learnt two things.
- Australian Twitter must be dead if $120 AUD is trending with like 20 top posts.
- Despite the outrage Blizzard is clearly making bank considering the photos of the new major city I’m seein x.x
Oh guess there’s also a third thing being Australia gets a discount technically conversion of $90USD is around $135 AUD but they seemingly capped it at $120.
