If you attune yourself hard enough, you can hear the combined reeing of both the past and the future, when something story-wise inevitably happens with literally any character and a portion of the fanbase loses their minds.

The trick to not getting mad about Sylvanas is that the Sylvanas I love will always live on in the mountains of f/f fanfic I’ve got bookmarked about her. Blizzard can’t hurt her there.

I think people have more issue with the whole ‘using an insanely dangerous magical weapon to destroy it and also intercepting ships of refugees to use as torture victims and/or target practice’. If Theramore was a legit target, then uh… so was Orgrimmar when Jaina nearly retaliated, but she stood down.
Most of your post is bait and I doubt anyone who actually backs it has any real care for the story but I’m bored so let’s do some stuff.

She did not kill half the Blood Elf population of Dalaran, we have no idea what the numbers are, and not a single named Blood Elf was killed. Plus Lor’themar is the most willing to work with Jaina out of the Horde so I’m pretty sure the number wasn’t that high. Barring random Sunreaver brigade, the Blood Elves didn’t seem to hold any grudges, as they immediately returned when allowed.

Zandalar was dumb, and I am of the firm belief that it didn’t make much sense to go there and attack, but per the War campaign, the Horde used Zandalar as a launch point to attack Kul Tiras, and then the Alliance ramped up and prepared to attack. If Theramore was a legit military target, so was Dazar’alor. Also she didn’t kill the king, he was offered surrender, fought instead, and then was overwhelmed by the power he called on and died. She did stand menacingly over his body for a bit as if she did any of the work… typical DPS player.
In terms of referencing Theramore, yeah, of course she would in the heat of the moment… when she’s in the ruins of Theramore. Where she saw her apprentice, her night elf friend, and her friend Rhonin all die, which in canon was only four years ago.
Still find it weird that people go on about how ‘Jaina is always in our faces’. How soon we forget WoD and Legion, I guess, and Khadgar with his magical bag of endless tricks for any situation. He and Jaina have very similar arcs, barring one being neutral and the other saying mean things about the Horde… I wonder what the other difference is… hmmm.

Let’s also not forget that the whole time, Jaina herself has whatever powers the writers want her to have, with absolutely no upper limits… AND her boyfriend is the Blue dragon aspect.
if you’re going to retaliate against Theramore’s aggression (and yes folks Theramore’s been aggressing since Vanilla) then you kinda need to bring a really big stupid bomb.
Garrosh also let all the civvies evacuate, which is more than Jaina was gonna do for Orgrimmar… more than she did in Dalaran.
Garrosh did plenty wrong. Cratering Theramore isn’t on that list.
