And yet it’s still much easier now than it was back then even over gearing it hence why I will always be against the argument of just bringing them back as you simply cannot reproduce the exact difficulty of the past.
No. It is not. You could outgear it then. I can outgear Nighthold, and solo it. That wasn’t possible in Legion.
Nothing is easier than outgearing a challenge.
And yet it took more attempts overgeared in legion than it did under geared in dragonflight.
“Please don’t bring back the reward I have. Bringing back other people’s rewards is okay.”
~ OP
This just in. You dont own any of it and one day will be unable to access it at all.
They honestly shouldn’t have ever removed old Naxx, old ZG, or old ZA in the first place and my theory is just that there were tech limitations back in 2008-2010 that couldn’t allow two versions of these places to coexist.
Absolutely they should. I have the Netherwhelp
From TBC collectors edition. I’d be more than happy if everyone else could get it. I have more important things to do with my life than worry about what someone else has.
Lol that is a garbage analogy
I’m fine with items coming back as long as they weren’t an award from doing something in-game that is circumstances to the meta.
For example, the MoP challenge mode mounts.
Every reward isn’t coming back. They’ve already confirmed what’s off limits.
But I think they need to pull off the bandaid completely. Just get all the complaints out of the way. That way people can get over it all.
Just put up a list of the things coming back. With big red letters that give the copy of the original purchase agreements, since quite a few people didn’t read it and do not know how intellectual property works.
People like you make the game worse for everyone.
take some time out to touch grass outside
Thats what I find funny about the OP’s argument. Many many items were duped so are not original to begin with while others were exploited in various ways.
I stick with the argument that T3 is a transmog set at this point. People think that others are in awe of it but thats an illusion at this point.
-
There are very few people that earned it that actually wander around wearing it.
-
Many people bought these using RMT because there was no token at the time.
-
What was a challenge than is not now. Players who wouldn’t have been able to clear Naxx than can easily do so now because they are better players or have a stable internet connection unlike what they had than.
-
There are people who were not even born at the time. If we want to include everyone of all shapes ,colors, and sexuality I don’t understand why we draw the line at age.
-
People who didn’t play during Naxxx often have no idea what it was like so its not like they even care that its a super bowl ring. Instead to them its just some gold ring that looks good but they can’t have that specific shape and stone set because reasons.
-
We allow people to go back and farm old mythics for transmog. I don’t see why we should declare some things off limits while limiting other peoples exclusive items. Why is the line drawn where it is.
-
Honestly nothing should have ever been removed from the game. It kills the draw for one of the largest audiences for MMO’s and that is completionists. Why join now if there is no way you can ever complete ATT?
At this point we have three options:
- Keep drawing arbitrary lines with certain items etc and keep them off limits for new players.
- Bring back everything.
- Link retail and classic accounts and when you earn it on one of the accounts you unlock it on all accounts. This really should have been done in the first place as it would have drawn players to both games.
For some it’s easier to budget 15.00 a month than 75.00 every six months.
Those are paid professionals being paid to be there
Blizz ain’t paying us to have shiny special things
i agree with ya but wow employees are not talented enough to come up with new and better mounts/pets/toys. thats why they are rehashing things that were supposed to be rare and unique. They are too inept to come out with new items.
Just put the 15$ you would have paid on the side and use it on the 6 month… not really rocket science, most kids do that with their allowance, in order to buy that toy they want.
I have tried that. But Since I don’t have medical insurance. and my health isn’t great. That money would usually go to cover a prescription. I just found out last weekend. I have glaucoma and the eyedrops I have to have are about the price of a six month sub.
and better start not paying for WOW today, so you can have $15 in the future.
Whether spending money now or in the future, it’s still spending.
It’s more of a matter of priorities.
I will just pay the $16.00 a month it costs (tax added). It’s a cheap form of entertainment. Cheaper than a meal out
