Not all Sylvanas fans are simps

That sentence hit me like a truck. Mr. Grand “Bentholomew” Blade.

Oh my god please expand your vocabulary. At least a little.

Okay… I guess if you let me know what part was too elementary for you I could make it more sophisticated.

Whats the next pokemon evolution for Simps?

There can be no natural evolution. The Simp can only become an aspirant after he is honest with himself, and considers that he might be. Then after summoning, convicting, and slaying their “inner simp”, in order to ascend, they have to pass the trial where they must balance reasonable sympathy with forthright constructive criticism and risk offending someone they are undeniably attracted to. They can then celebrate their ascension to becoming a decent human being: but they must continue on the path.

Just the overuse of the word “simp” to describe too many things at once. The simp examples you provided were much closer to “enabler” than anything.

I was trying to be sarcastic, but I came off as a little meaner than intended there. My bad.

Nevermind, you might actually be a better wordsmith than I could aspire to be.

I am a Sylvanas simp and proud of that. She is the last good character in a play full of trash like Baine and Thrall are.

I always knew you were Shambalah.

This is your weirdest deflection attempt yet, and I’ve seen you use it on multiple threads now.

Assuming you’re not just lying, which is a distinct possibility based on your dishonesty in other threads, being gay or straight has nothing to do with being a simp of somebody.

Certainly some simps have this pathetic notion that maybe, someday, somehow they’ll be able to get with the person they’re simping for, but there are plenty of people who simp for people or characters that they’re just in love with as characters, not in some sexual way.

Indeed, the fact that you’re hiding behind this being an exclusively sexual term when its not makes me believe you’re just lying and engaging in the age old, “Talking about homosexuality immediately equates to sex” stereotype that bigots have been using for years.

You are undoubtedly a simp.

Or you know, they just really like the character.

Which one? I would not be surprised if Sylvanas was actually quintuple sisters that pretended to be one person for decades.

It would actually make a lot of sense.

Was talking about Sylvanas and that people can simply like a character because they find them interesting. Sometimes it’s really just that simple. People often times have a bad habit of looking for things that aren’t actually there. You know?

What a meaningless notion.

Not far off from potential canon if Blizzard does the “actually her soul was split in two like Uther” after all.

Threads like this one make me wonder what would happen if tomorrow, Kim Yo-jong took power in North Korea and spent her entire reign doing the same horrible things, but doing them as she was cosplaying as Sylvanas Windrunner.

It’s an experiment that I hope I will never see the results for.

Uh, something adjacent to that already happened, when she set up that photo-op of her being seen running down the street with toast dangling from her mouth like an anime character. And yes, that actually charmed some people on the internet.

Edit: My bad, it was just someone photoshopping the toast into her mouth. But some people started drawing fan art of her for it anyway.

Like, when the first journalist posts “Yaas Queen slay” on Twitter, that’s the point where I might say “everyone, stop the world, I wanna get off”.

Edit: Sarm - the additional information you provided makes the situation worse. It went from some random thing that the internet seized upon to something that they entirely fabricated in order to draw fan art of a member of the family that’s running one of the most brutal and repressive regimes on the planet.

Yes, I know, it’s the internet, but at one point or another, you’ve got to step back and really wonder.

Yup you’re right, there’s never been a person in this world that’s become weirdly overly attached to a fictional character.

There’s a lot of sick people in the world who find enjoyment in the sorrows of others. And the internet lets people with these sick thoughts express themselves.

It’s terrifying.

I think you replied to the wrong person. I never said or implied that.
