Yeah I was a bit confused by the statement too.
They contradicted themselves in one of the most confusing ways I’ve ever seen.
I like the set, i like the wings, just not the colors, but also i hate that holy pally it is has to be melee i want to range heal.

I mean, you’re in luck, hpal can heal just fine as a caster now, you just benefit from being closer to your friends for mastery.
On Topic the set is fine. I won’t use it because I’m pathologically boring and haven’t changed mogs for longer than a week for anything since mop lol

I made a thread asking for them to hire an artist who cares about hunters and understands their lore, instead of the current “LOL LETS SHOVE SKULLS ON IT, THAT SAYS HUNTER” designer.
No one in the comments that were agreeing with me nor myself ever stated they should fire the existing person.
They’re putting words in our mouth and it needs to stop.

I like it better than the current tier set. Sorry but this season’s set and last season wasnt great.
I just wish they would stop focusing on humans/elfs when making paladin tier sets. Theres other races that are paladins.
Would be cool if they ribbons broke and the wings flapped but that would be too much work
I agree. I would love more Sunwalker inspired Paladin sets.

I’ll give credence that the aberrus set was the best one for the expansion, but I still prefer the pre legion sets more over the current ones that we have.

Probably a case of when S2 priest armor came out and everyone said that should have been the pally set.
But the shoulders are the temu/wish versions of what Paladins wanted.
I mean in all honesty it should have, it didn’t come off as a priest set at all.

I agree! I think the normal shoulders would look great with the Legion Class hall set. But im also a huge fan of the old anime Bubblegum Crisis.
I think they’ve done a pretty decent job with most of the sets for 11.0 but that paladin set is the worst BY FAR. I honestly hate it. Good thing the open world plate looks better than the tier set…big sad…
I don’t think they’re washed out at all. You want everyone to be a Power Ranger?
You may not like it, but I guarantee you we will see those Shoulders used in peoples tmog for years to come.
And if you don’t like the shoulders, the rest of the set with those magical ribbon things is a cool theme too.
Also we don’t have the helm, but based off the Icon it looks cool.

What I don’t understand is why paladins lost their minds over priest 10.1 set but this has similar size/placement of wings and they’re upset.
We don’t even know what it’ll look like with a helmet or on a non male human which is hyper critical cause it’s 10000000000000% the worst model to show for any transmog.
I think it’s going to be a good set. The paladin 10.1 set was ripped on constantly but people voted on it for s4 and use it in memes to make fun of this set.
