I gave up on regular flight,you guys wish it out fine have it your way,but with dragonriding keep it in itās place then.
You guys are spoiled.
Maybe I dont want to zip around like a drug addict with a new supply? The devs have forced participation in DF up until now. There is no data of how many people like one over the other.

If you canāt dragonride, you canāt play WoW. It requires one button, spacebar. How on earth do you play your class? Right click to autoattack andā¦ thatās it? No, you press buttons. Multiple buttons. Buttons at specific timings, in a specific order. But pressing spacebar to fly aroundā¦ GG, canāt do it?
Herbing - AND MINING FOR THAT MATTER - are both significantly better now. Poor druids, losing their uniqueness after 15? years. Everyone can gather herbs, AND ORES, whilst mounted now. It even gives you a vigor back, which is more than enough to gather continuously. Easily.
A lot of people in this game really have an attitude problem, especially on matters that wouldnāt affect them at all but still feel the need to talk down to others.
Give it a rest Voltaire, itās just dragonriding, if some people donāt like it and will play more once regular flying is in, then all the betterā¦ or are you just that lacking of any maturity and emotion.

And a lot of people are presumptuous about what affects people. Iām not talking down to others. Iām not denying that there are people whoās disability prevent them from dragonriding, nor denying that there are people who are disabled who are capable of playing WoW. Iām saying that those two groups are mutually distinct. If someone is disabled, but they are capable of playing WoW - even in the simplest, smallest of ways such as gathering herbs - then they must be able to press the spacebar. If not, how can they interact with the herbs? Clicking a mouse button is far more difficult than spacebar. And if they have some special solution for clicking the mouse button, such as specialized hardware or software, than why can that not be applied to the spacebar?
Itās not ājust dragonridingā. Itās preventing progress to appease what very much appears to be an imaginary group of people.
Then thereās the motion sickness crowd. Fair enough. But if my friends and I were going driving somewhere, and one of them had motion sickness, theyād take medication. And if they refused, theyād be left behind because what is the alternative? The rest of us walk? Maybe upon occasion, but itās not a longterm solution.
That you could type this with a straight face before launching into your rant where you practically list your own presumptions is HILARIOUS.

They arenāt removing dragonriding. They are letting regular flying happen in the dragon isles so your statement is moot.
You just show why I have contempt for a lot of the people in this game. Itās this pompous, lack of any empathy type of attitude that borders on gatekeeping. Iād have different words but that would give me a forum vacation.

Of course you are. Thatās exactly what you are doing when you tell people who have been fine playing the game all along that they were never able to play the game before because of some minor disability that interferes with them being able to use dragonriding. And as a person who knows nothing about these people or their impairments or disabilities, you of course know better than anybody that they have never been able to play the game before.
Itās weird, almost like a cabal of sponsored posters working for a PR hack subcontractor was sent to the forum to use that same āI have ESP so I know you better than you know yourselfā rationale that we never heard before. Itās almost as though someone sent you to the forum to say that.
So you expect everybody to be on drugs all the time? What an odd demand.

Iām not defending what he said entirely. But itās not like people donāt exaggerate and use half-truths to get what they want.
We see it all the time, and Iām not saying thatās definitely whatās happening here. But it is what humans do for emphasis
Either way it doesnāt matter. Old flight is coming with a pathfinding requirement. Everybody wins
Iām always amazed how these threads become derailed because a number of us fail to understand we are only speaking for ourselves. Some folks love dragon riding and thatās great. I think they should be able to dragon ride everywhere flying is allowed. Some of us donāt enjoy it and are looking forward to poking along on our regular flyers. Iām failing to see why this becomes so controversial. Having both kinds of flying does not diminish the experience of one or the other.
Be chill and remember the more people who enjoy playing this game the more Blizz can continue to invest in content development and thatās really good for everyone.

The reason this topic continues in so many threads is because people who decide what topics should be in the forum want this discussion to be happening, exactly as it is. If they did not want this, they could stop discussion on the topic, or this type of discussion.
