Normal and Heroic raids need to get on que finder

Normal and heroic raids should be included in the queue finder with appropriate item level requirements.

This season, I was eager to participate in raiding and experience that content. While my item level more than qualifies me for the raids, the biggest challenge has been organizing groups and getting everything set up.

It seems like this is a major barrier preventing many players from engaging with raid content.

Organizing groups is time-consuming and exhausting. If Blizzard wants to make raids more accessible and serious for a wider audience, they should make it easier for all players to participate.

Right now, it feels like only those in guilds get to experience raids. Not necessarily because they’re better qualified or guaranteed to finish them, but because it’s simply easier for them to get groups together.

Blizzard should consider this and open up raids to a larger PUG (pick-up group) community.

At this point, I can’t bring myself to spend an entire day or weekend setting up a raid group. I’d rather use that time in other content, like Delves or Mythics.

That said, I still want to enjoy raiding, and I would, if Blizzard made it more accessible through a queue system with strict item level requirements.

Here are some reasons why this could be a good idea:

  1. Accessibility: By adding Normal and Heroic raids to the queue finder, it would make raiding more accessible to a larger portion of the player base, especially those who don’t have the time or social network to form or join a guild.
  2. Lowering the Time Investment: Organizing a raid group can be daunting and time-consuming, especially for casual players who might not have an entire weekend to dedicate to setting up and running content. A queue system with item level requirements could streamline this process.
  3. Expanding Participation: Many players, especially those in smaller guilds or without a regular group of friends, feel left out of the raid scene. By opening up the raids to a broader PUG community, more players could experience this content without the additional burden of organizing.
  4. Barrier Removal: As you mentioned, setting up groups is often a huge barrier. Removing or reducing that through a queue system would eliminate one of the most frustrating parts of raiding for some players.
  5. Maintaining Difficulty with Requirements: If there are strict item level requirements in place, it ensures that players queuing for Normal or Heroic raids are at least appropriately geared. This can maintain a reasonable level of challenge and avoid diluting the difficulty too much.

No, if you don’t have time or patience to make a group then I doubt you have the time or the patience to pug heroic prog week 1.

There should be an ilevel requirement, blizzard can go one step ahead and put more restrictions.

Like complete the raid on Normal before we can enter HC using the group finder.

There are ways we can make this work.

If you are not getting invited right now, is because of your ilv. Go do some delves/m0 first, you should be above 600 ilv by now.

I am above 600. The post is on how time consuming it is to set up raid. I am raid leader and i am not willing to spend an entire day on this.

That is the issue. I am certain 99% of players who are getting into groups. Will wholeheartedly instantly que for group finder if we had the option.

we will get it eventually its just a matter of time

It’s not about ilvl requirements, it’s about people willing to do mechanics and willing to keep trying when people mess up and the group wipes. Make your own group if you can’t get into one, and if making your own group is too much work then you don’t really have any business trying to push heroic right now. Sounds like you want a carry tbh

Then just join groups, tank if you don’t want to wait.

It’ll just be a revolving door of kicking lowest performing players 50x times

Not Heroic raid, but at this point, Normal raid absolutely should be.

Normal is basically queued content without having to queue

It’s the accessible stepping stone into group content

People see easy content and go “we should be able to queue this” but it’s easy BECAUSE you’re meant to use that to transition from queued into premade

If raiding was made easier. I would even accept the restriction of doing Normal 3 times and completing the raid before you can que for heroics.

The point of this post is not my ilevel. Blizzard can clearly see that in game.

The point is to make it easily accessible for everyone.

Since you are not going to use the group finder. What mechanics we fail should not effect you in anyway. YOu can continue to que with your group with no restrictions.

Not saying we will not fail, but we will down the boss eventually and raids become more accessible to everyone.

This one change by iteself will bring in so many new players into raiding. This will only work in favor of blizzard.

The more players playing their game and raiding. The better it is for blzzard.

I am also down for this point.

I dont see a major difference between normal and HC other than couple of new moves and a gear check. We can easily counter this with gear ilevel & number of boss kills.

Raid is easily accessible for everybody of all skill levels, though.

This isn’t about being accessible, it’s just wanting easier higher ilev.

Raiding is made easier, that’s what LFR and story mode are for.

It is extremely easily accessible for everyone. There’s actually zero restrictions on starting your own group.

It seriously just sounds like you want to be carried through, which is what LFR is for.

Yeah let’s throw people into a 5 hour pug that they can’t leave without a deserter. Great plan.

Yeah, force people to play with me through content. :dracthyr_love_animated: They try to leave? Ban.

your ilevel is well below me to utter these words.

What I am suggesting is to make it more accessible via group finder and let everyone que once they have an Ilevel.

Dont use the group finder then.

That is what make it accessible means, you dont need to access it. PRetty straight forward.

Same answer above to you applies. WHo is forcing you to access it ?

This is for people who want to use it.
