It’s quite possible to oppose something, but respect that a mid-point between your views and the views of other people is an acceptable situation.
Nope not going to happen I f Blizzard changes Classic by adding any thing to game than it is not Classic.
If Blizzard changes Classic I will go back to the private servers I was playing on and so will a lot of players. I am not the only one.
Than Ion came straight out and lied about Classic.
That is a good enough reason to leave. I will close the door and lock it after after I unsub. I will than throw away the key and never look back.
I came back to play Classic not a DUMBEST version of retail.
Now Blizzard knows what I will do along with a lot of other players.
Than watch on a lot of players unsub
Money vs forums I bet money wins.
Add getting rid of Fing LEEWAY to that list
If you’re against changes, you don’t compromise to allow changes.
I was speaking in regards to what Blizzard have made changes to Classic. Not speaking to the ones wanting changes that were not originally in vanilla. The compromise was towards Blizzard.
It’s quite possible to oppose something, but respect that a mid-point between your views and the views of other people is an acceptable situation.
also true, if a change was like the mail box changes and would not be as noticeable then yes I could also get behind this.
Guys Dire Maul is coming out early isn’t that great
Why havent you left because of the changes to the mailing then?
What’s so hilarious is seeing the legions of people who play dps classes saying “no changes” to dual spec. Yeah, because it doesn’t impact you at all.
Try playing a tank and tell me that dual spec wouldn’t be an objective improvement to the game.
Really, it doesn’t matter, because BC Classic and WOTLK Classic are inevitable anyway. I know this simply because it’s lazier and easier than actually doing what they should do (make an actual new MMO), so it’ll happen.
Naxx should have been available on day 1.
In fact, the only reason phases happened, IMO, is that the rest of the content doesn’t actually work right now. Classic is so error ridden and glitchy that I think the only reason they gated content was to buy them time to fix it.
They didn’t even have time to implement key chains into the Legion client/infrastructure.
It made absolutely zero sense to have endgame talents/abilities/itemization but not actually have all of the endgame available.
Dire Maul, ZG, BWL, AQ20, AQ40, and Naxx, and BGs can’t come soon enough. There’s nothing to do. I’m already bored.
personal loot, effects gameplay tremendously.
In a good way.
No loot system is without issue, personal loot included.
How would personal loot even work in classic? Im a healadin, there is minimal mail and plate int gear before 60.
It should just be an option for raid pugs.
It would be a huge quality of life improvement for guids. No loot drama, no DKP, no bullcrap.
Still has issues.
That healy mace i got? Downgrade for me over my sword. Want to give to a priest. Too bad, i dont have a healy mace that level so i cant give it away.
And that’s nothing compared to the issues involved with classic’s current loot system.
How would personal loot handle paladins, shamans, and druids liking cloth? How would it handle physical dps liking leather? How would it handle paladins liking items that would normally go to a caster instead of a healed?
Personal loot is based on a list of items that are appropriate for characters with given specs.
BiS items in vanilla are all known. The cloth items that are BiS for Paladins would simply be included on their personal loot lists for their selected specs.
It’s not a problem at all. The personal loot system allows you to select a spec.
For completely weird non-optimal specs, you don’t HAVE to use personal loot. It’s just an option that group leaders could set.
I’m not talking about FORCING personal loot but just adding the option for it.
So now blizzard has to invest time to retool their personal loot system to make it work in vanilla, accounting for every potential useful drop that isnt normally assigned to a class because of armor type.
Or how about we just leave classic alone.
He asked for a barbershop and you retorted with that he shouldn’t be advocating for changes if he likes the way it is.
What’s wrong with liking a nice car and getting some rims put on it?
You are not allowed to say “this ice cream is delicious, but I wouldn’t mind some sprinkles.” It is simply not a possibility for some people.
it doesn’t matter personal loot effects the gameplay and difficulty, barbershop does not.
