Thry told us ages ago they were going to fix bugs and exploits.
exactly, exploits.
No, I’m talking torch room farming. It was completely legit, people did do it in Vanilla but because youtube wasn’t as big and streaming didn’t exist it wasn’t as widespread.
Blizzard didn’t like that they could do that so, in a very anti-vanilla move, they removed XP from the mobs.
Yeah i remember a lot of that from notalrious but a lot of people want to think nost was exactly like vanilla too.
So they fix “bugs and exploits”, while adding likely thousands of bugs and exploits. Sounds like a whole lot of #nochanges to me…
I’m talking vanilla vanilla, i never played on vanilla pservers
Yes, this was a Vanilla mechanic.
Abd you sound like a person who wants to use anything they can to get their one pet change into a place where its not supposed to be
Or locking down sendchatmessage() (or whatever is call is) because they didn’t like that addons could do that even though they have done it for FIFTEEN YEARS.
you have a reference vanilla video of torch room farming so comparisons can be made? Memory doesnt count.
Yeah, the 50g respec cost is obviously a bug. Let’s fix the bugs. #nochanges
No, the reason many didn’t know is because videos didn’t exist.
In that case half the crap on vanilla would be up in the air because most of it HAS no video

“Pix or it didn’t happen.” Yeah, sorry, I must have completely hallucinated aoeing that place down with hellfire for hours.

Not everything, but Blizzard do have an in house reference client which is where all those changes you non-nochanges people keep talking about. A lot of us want to think we remember vanilla as it was but a whole bunch of people were wrong on that. I would think Blizzard would know how vanilla works at least mostly by now and if anything comes up later that needs to be changed they will make it happen. Instead of making claims that Blizzard isnt about #nochanges maybe you guys should find references to the changes you want Blizzard to have a 2nd look at. Maybe they will revert them if the evidence has any validity.

Maybe you are, I cant remember for you nor can yourself.

And yet they used a Legion client for Classic… Have you ever stopped to consider that their reference client isn’t from Vanilla? (Hint: It’s from TBC. That’s why Skull of Impending Doom and Discombobulator Ray are on the TBC patch) Maybe if the #nochanges crowd spent more time researching the actual state of Classic, instead of living in a fantasy where we are playing Vanilla, they’d realize that their position is ridiculous.

And yet they used a Legion client for Classic…
H
because its the most compatible with their infrastructure LOL. A client from 2006 is no way going to work.
Well, the reason for the legion client is so they can have it on Bnet and have it talk to bnet, though i think they updated the backend to the BfA client before launch.
They could’ve built a functional BNET API for the Classic client. Their approach was lazy as can be. But hey, that’s BlizzActivision for you.

They are not going to do that they are going to work with whats already there. That is plain and obvious from a business standpoint.
