“ability to do it in a way that we never did before. It’s something that now has become possible.”
Stay with me now; do your best to avoid sticking your fingers in your ears and screaming NAH NAH NAH NAH CANT HEAR YOU for a few more seconds okay?
What’s the thing they were previously unable to do…that now they are able to do? What was the breakthrough? For how long did we hear about “We just can’t technically make Vanilla realms right now”? How long? Over a decade.
Suddenly, here’s Classic WoW…they were able to take an old version of the game and backport it into the modern client with all the bells and whistles.
Since I can read and I can comprehend, it’s fairly obvious that he’s talking about making other no-longer available versions of WoW (TBC and Wrath) available to play in the future if that’s what people really want.
He wasn’t talking about brand new, developed content for Classic; they’ve always been able to do that.
That, friend, is how reading comprehension works.

The entire reason we got vanilla was because of the community.

So you are telling me Blizz’s objective is not get people to pay them? Do you know what a corporation by definition is supposed to attain? ???
Literally a wall of text that can be debunked in a matter of ten seconds.
They did BC before, and the quote says never done before.
Jesus christ man, I feel bad for you.

And this is what makes your opinions worthless. The rest of us are offering a plain-text reading of what Blizz has said to this point. You guys are injecting your own biases and pretending that it counts as facts. It’d be funny if it wasn’t also so sad.

The objective of classic was to recreate and rerelease vanilla wow. The objective is to always grow sub numbers… but completely destroying the purpose of the project in the process based on forum goers asking for more content 2 weeks after release is not the way to do that.

Once again…that’s not how debunking works, lol.

Derka, it’s obvious you will never understand the fundamentals of how game servers work or simple concepts like how people won’t replay the same game for years, you’ve already said there is no point arguing with us, if you’re going to repeat the same things over and over again I think it’s time to pack up shop.

You’re so emotional that after you said that you weren’t going to reply to me, you did it again. That’s a sign that maybe you need to step away for a little bit and come back when you can take quotes at face value. I mean no offense friend, have a nice day.

Lmfao, level 20 asking for more content.
Person who has a demon hunter speaking as if their opinion is not completely invalidated by their class.
Classic will be fine, I heard there’s some sick servers with custom content though if you guys are into that kind of thing.

And its obvious that you don’t get what the whole point of Classic WoW was right from the get-go. People have said hand over fist that they will play this game for years to come; a huge chunk of the responses in this one thread have clearly stated that a lot of folks have no interest in your Classic+ vision…and since you guys are desperate for 40-man Karazhan, you’re happy to assume that they’re lying so that you can sleep at night thinking you’re right.

What can I say? I fell for the troll; I guess I’m just bored enough today. Happens to the best of us.
Anyone who disagrees with you is a troll. You sound like a supporter of a certain president.
Do you even realize that World of Warcraft has a lore? The game has its own lore! The game is based on that lore! You want to add another race in classic WoW?? Are you telling me that they should rewrite the lore for them to be able to add more content horizontally? LOL!
“Okay, so he said he would consider Classic+. Heres what he REALLY meant!”
No, trolls are trolls. People who disagree with me are perfectly awesome people.

Except Ion said he wouldn’t and that quote very clearly is talking about TBC realms. shrug If we just agree to disagree on that point, fine.

This is a really crappy post.
Spoiled customers wanting to ruin an almost spot on version of vanilla WoW. If you aren’t happy with Classic, then move your rotten butt back to retail.
Why can’t you let people keep #NOCHANGES?

#nochanges ever, period.
The Classic+ is a self-serving pursuit that favors players of today. But classic as it is today, the closest approximation to vanilla that is reasonably possible, needs to exist for future players.
If you keep increasing the difficulty because you out geared the content then new players will face a wall that they cannot climb. This is wrong.
The people that fought for classic knew that there would not be new content, the knew the end-game was fixed, but they still wanted it.
IF you want to convince Blizzard that a new and different set of servers needs to be created with higher difficulty then do that; but be prepared to defend why fracturing the base even further is a good idea because the current level of difficulty should exist in perpetuity.
