With no Wrath era server, GDKP/RMT ring leaders and their cronies are going to have a serious lapse in cashflow until the Cata raiding scene takes off.
Please allow Wrath era servers to remain in the meantime, so that these hard working folk don’t go hungry. /sarcasm

dis one gold farming operation had 45,000,000 gold sold in tbc classic with da price of 12 usd dollars per 1000 gold.
540,000 usd real life money earned through one gdkp selling gold to people. no one can say dis does not ruin da spirit of classic n promote pay to win culture. too much gold in da game from bots.
think about all da other gold farming operations on da classic servers. dis is just one example. now u have wow token blizzard gold farming operation.
dis is a lot of real life money being earned.

remember dis is only one gdkp. now with wow token n da thousands of other gdkps. take a step back n look at da big picture.
now blizzard added unlimited level 80 boosts to da game. 60 usd per character. da blizzard is making so much money.
I mean cata will probably be ok given people do need hard raids and monetization already has a 80 boost. Though I am sure for the mythic or whatever raid will be heavily in the gdkp and they prob want harder content to prevent people from just pugging the content. So no the gold sellers prob want raids that pugs and dad guilds cant clear so they can sell the gear associated and well there is no reason for me and many others to play on their terms and deal with the level 85 content. And in terms of raw difficulty the further up the expansions you go the harder it is, thus there will be higher demand for funnel and gdkp runs. While tbc would use pre-sold and just have 1 noob in the final boss room.
(most notibly the presold would be the bow from swp and the glaives, I did use this to get shard of contempt).
There already is a private server group forming for WoTLK now. Permanant Wrath. Working with the other main one that is currently running. I have a friend who says they will want to play on it soon. I will likely do SOD. And that is it.
I also gotta love how the OP types stuff up. Really showcases blizzards community nowadays doesn’t it. A community that completely lacks a 5th grade education.
No. Us wrath classic players won’t go hungry because of not having permanent wrath classic server options. And we will still be able to feed our families.
But luckily for us. Private servers exist. So if blizzard refuses to provide this content for us legally. We will all just go over to private wrath servers lol.
And then, if blizzard tries to sue the private server staff, we will just be like. We kindly asked you for a legal way to play the wrath of the lich king client. And you refused. So now we are playing illegally.
It would be funny to see a private server get to that point a second time like nostalrius did though lol.
