Blood Elves have already lost you’re suggesting a scenario that ignores the fact nothing was done for Blood Elves the first time we “exchanged”
Considering you’re saying that “nothing really feels lost” makes me wonder if you’ve truly have thought of that scenario as if that was actually happening.
The game is based in a bi-factional system, for decades, both factions have looked different and distinct, their cities are different, even the leveling zones that are controlled by each faction and not neutral look different.
But you really think that having fully fleshy “mechagnomes” in the Horde would not feel like the Alliance gnomes lost anything?
Did you see what I said after that?
I think you’re the one not reading.
Oh, and also, high elves have been in the the game and playable since 2006.
I disagree. You’re not actually invested in the race. You just want…
You have a lot less reason to be here than most of the rest of these folk. At least we care about the thing we’re talking about.
Explain to me how it isn’t, out of curiosity. Explain why you think it is a good story despite the reasons why their story makes little sense that I outlined above.
The reasons you outlined above.
They’re a group of Blood Elves who sought power to protect their home from an unlikely source, got kicked out because of it, never liked those who kicked them out in the first place so when their long lost hero returned they jumped at the chance to join their preferred faction. They desire their home sure, but that is just a Thlassian thing so no oddity there. lol
The only issue I’ve ever seen with Void Elves is that they should have come from High Elf stock not Blood Elf stock.
Again though, you likely wont consider any of it from another angle, as all you’re interested in is;
So the forums can stop talking about high elves.
And you being fine erasing a race I enjoy just because you want people to stop talking about them is why I question why anyone should consider your stance.
I just want my Dark Ranger skin, red-eyes, scars and tats.
I do hope this gets added, if not for Belves, then for Forsaken.
I do hope this gets added, if not for Belves, then for Forsaken.
No, I want it specifically for Blood Elves.
No complaint here, thats my preferred.

The fact that he just labeled them as just “Blood elves who use void magic” shows the disservice that this customization has done to Void Elves… because that’s all they look like now, not like people that that had their plan backfiring on them after trying to do the best they could.

Stop thinking of it like an exchange, jesus. This adversarial relationship you have with the game is why you’re so mad about petty things like hair colors to begin with. Instead of being mad at other people asking for something, how about instead, you say “Hey, it’s great you’re adding in new stuff, we’d like some more things for Blood elves too.”
Did you see what I said after that?
I think you’re the one not reading.
That doesn’t contradict anything I said though. Add more customization for everyone. What’s the problem then?
Oh, and also, high elves have been in the the game and playable since 2006.
And now they’re playable on Alliance too.
I used the toy on my Vulpera and it does turn the player into a BE that then uses the BE /silly jokes. I didn’t know it would do the BE lines too I never use toys like that normally.
I can only hope.
Stop thinking of it like an exchange,
So you just want Blood Elves to be robbed?
Because idk any other reason why someone would get mad if it’s pointed out you haven’t paid your end.
At least you came out and said it, you just want to even do away with the illusion of fairness.

That’s all they ever were, literally.
And now they’re playable on Alliance too.
But hey, nothing was stolen, right?
That’s all they ever were, literally.
No, they really aren’t. You’re free to view them superficially as much as you’d like, and their current options don’t help. But they’re really not.
I don’t know he said he doesn’t even want to think of it as an exchange so I guess stolen is the right word to use?
“paid your end”, lol. I’ll post on my blood elf because you people are roleplaying on the forums. I don’t care if void elves get different hair colors. It means nothing to me.
I can post on my VE and advocate my standpoint too is this like musical chairs?
I don’t know, it’s hard to keep up because the speech keeps changing.
Maybe they’re using some special personal definition for words.
And now they’re playable on Alliance too.
High Elves weren’t playable at all. They took the theme and split it between both sides, but it was added.
I’d still argue that they aren’t available except as player flavor. They’re still just Alliance NPCs.
But hey, nothing was stolen, right?
Look at Blizzard for that, not the people who asked for High elves. People who wanted High elves wanted what Alliance already had. Blizzard had the idea to make them be from the same Blood elves that joined the Horde, and then left it only to rejoin the Alliance again with a true blue zeal.

Go and do the scenario, it’s all right there.

This is absolutely true.
I mean you can make that old Blood Elves are high Elves argument and sure but yeah. Its just player flavor. The in world lore still sees you as blood elf or void elf.
I’ve never seen anyone get mad about wanting a fair exchange unless what their really saying is they just want to disregard even the idea of fairness.
It became more clear when they said to “stop thinking of it like an exchange”
