No, Void Elves should not have Blood Elf hair tones/options

What’s mine it’s mine, and what’s yours, it’s also mine.

Sure, feel free to. I’m not the one roleplaying. And thinking of other players asking for something in an adversarial way.

I did the scenario and they were literally just blood elves who were willing to use void magic to defend silvermoon. By killing silvermoon.

And don’t even try to think of it like an exchange! Just ignore the fact one side keeps taking!

Give NB access to Night elf models. Seems like a good trade to me.

Apparently you are because you’re the only one who’s brought it up twice now? Idk anyone here who’s claimed to forum RP, but I think there is a RP section of the forums I’m not sure maybe you’re more knowledgeable on that then the rest of us all things considered.

And ignore their unhappiness with the sin’dorei joining the Horde. Also ignore the fact that they used the research of Dar’khan Drathir, and ignore the fact that they were almost turned into void beings…

They’re just blood elves using the void to defend Silvermoon.

I guess sin’dorei shadow priests are also Void elves then

An exchange would mean blood elves got something of equal value in return and that ain’t the case.

…where is my warrior’s beard blizzard!?

You’re the one who claims people asking for something have to “pay their end”.

Yeah analogies aren’t my strong suit but I still thought people could recognize one when they saw it. Guess I was wrong.

I recognized it.

(Commentary): If you’d asked me before Mists of Pandaria, then I’d have said yes. If you’d asked me before Nightborne and Void Elves were added to the game, I’d say, “sorta.” At this point though? No. The lines have been crossed and blurred repeatedly. Actually, Mechagnomes in the Horde, even with fully fleshy options, would be kind of nice; Blood Elves would have another race they have some history with to count as a friend.

They apparently didn’t care that much until the Alliance rescued them. Because they joined the Horde and then left it. Umbric was in Silvermoon during BC.

You joke about this but this is a lore plothole. If Alleria cannot come to the Sunwell because it interacts negatively with the Sunwell, then I guess Blood elf shadow priests are out of luck.

It’s not an exchange. If anything it’s giving Alliance something they already had with High elves and allowing them to play as if they’re not Void elves by using the High elf customizations. Which wouldn’t be needed if they just added High elves in the first place.

So in short: The damage it’s been done, let’s go nuts.

That’s… not a good thing, though.

Blood Elves have plenty of friends in the Horde. Gnomes would just be used as tortured souls and things to punt off a ledge.

?

I mean that’s sort of old by this point they have better history with the Forsaken than Alliance races.

Their scattered throughout Horde questing from Azshara to Ashenvale, this comment made it sound like another HE fan stand point that pushes Blood Elves of not fitting in with the Horde.

Every race in the Horde are allies and friends to the Blood Elves…

You beat me! This was my thoughts too!

It was a bad reason that needed to be shot down.

They made this clear. Umbric states this specifically.

Except it’s not, because shadow priests were never close enough to the void to the point of being close to lose their physical form entirely.

The Horde had playable high elves since 2006, so yes, it was taking something that had been exclusively in the Horde and hand it to the Alliance. So you’re correct, it’s not an exchange, because NB still look like their own people and not like a copy of Night Elves.

Neither is Alleria. Alleria appears like a regular High elf until she goes void. If anything, it’s inconsistent that she does this when other void elves do not.

By this logic Horde robbed the Alliance by taking High elves and adding them to Horde. Since Alliance has had High elf NPCs since vanilla.

Blame Blizzard for this great thievery of Blood elves to Alliance, or whatever. Alliance players were asking for High elves, not Blood elves. NPCs they already had. None of this would have been necessary if void elves hadn’t been added.

So - in order to defeat Silvermoon - one “little void bomb” would be enough? That Sunwell is more trouble than it’s worth.

No it isn’t
They have been transformed by the void.
How can you even judge the void elf story as being ‘trash’ when you don’t even understand them?
