Except Torghast has an escape hatch that dungeons don’t: we can play it solo.
We will not be at the mercy of the metagame.

A timer in TORGHAST would ruin it. The soft enrage after too many deaths is the best idea for this type of content. As long as it doesn’t reward gear and only rewards cosmetics and such then it doesn’t really matter if someone spends a week straight in there
I wish more people realized that until you get fairly high in key level the mythic+ timers are very generous.
Plenty of time to single pull every trash, no skips, some CC on a tough pull, etc.
If you’re going to complain about a feature, at least take the time to research what you’re complaining about.
Takes eyes off other, actual problems with SL.
But it also offers rewards, and it’s safe to assume the further you get in the tower the better rewards, meaning it has to be balanced around normal gameplay, not fringe “wait for cooldown” gameplay, which means that gameplay cannot exist.
Which is probably going to be a pain for tanks and healers trying to push the higher levels. And punishing as well for classes that don’t have the big CDs
How about we just disable bloodlust in torghast then we can not worry about having a timer at all.
The Tarragrue is basically a timer incarnated. Bye, bye.
P.S. Mail all of your gold to me.
Bloodlust isn’t the only big CD, all CDs would need to be disabled.
It’s the only one with a 10 min cd.
And who cares if you wait for your 2-3 min cooldowns?
No one wants to wait 3-5 minutes between packs either though.
Then don’t?
There won’t be a timer.
Just a giant metal boi who pegs you to death.
If it’s allowed the tower has to be balanced around it, so it affects everyone.
But of course, nothing like Torghast They could just stay in retail and not do Torghast
I’ll wait around for that any day!
It has infinite levels. At some point you hit a wall, and if you are super desperate you can climb a bit higher spending 8 hours in their lusting every pull.
Who cares?
It’s like if they put timers in classic because they were worried mass groups of warriors will take 30 minutes between pulls to wait for recklessness.
Because there is power gains involved. If it was just bragging rights, it would be whatever (I wouldn’t do it then, but it would still be whatever).
They actually did do something from vanilla onward to raiding not related to the 30 minute reck thing, but they added enrages to bosses because they didn’t want stacking healers to be the way to cheese the boss.
i hope they make a timer for Torghast just because Felnor doesn’t want one
So we add something a lot of people hate, another timer to content, because a handful of people who play WoW as their job will sit in Torghast for 10 hours waiting for bloodlust which may or may not even be that big of a gain when so much power comes from the anima power ups inside.
Mythic+ is built around timers. Let it stay there.
