6 days no human response, and no justification on an action taken on the account, if it was sod related or cata – just would like answers
No, that isn’t normal… for a business that actually cares about their customers. They’re too busy fixing up cata, the expansion that like 5 people care about and will be dead in 2 weeks.
uhhhhh customer service people have nothing to do with cata launching or any specific version of wow. It’s probably even the same cs people across all blizzard games.
So i play both, cata and sod – I bought a wow token on cata, to have gold on launch – I always play SOD heavily. I was grinding gold in the incursions, by selling herbs and ore, I got to about 2k gold on sod via incursion selling – bought 1 item on the auction house then the next login – account was banned. The automated response gave no indication for which game it was for – just that it was against TOS and potentially gold buying, or botting. Which is weird, they can see all the trades and mail right? Maybe it was just some automation that messed up? I legit have no clue… I have been home on PTO because I had a knee surgery, so I was playing very late some nights due to the medication, do I need to post a surgery date and pictures to blizzard to verify that I was home this whole time? Just want answers and my account back…
Support ticket on maintenance. Also ticket times are about a weekish currently per some blue posts.
Posting in CS is probably a better place, but with the maintenance idk what they could do besides tell you if it’s been seen, etc.

we wanted them to make a living wage, so they had to cut staff.
Blizz has a very small, dedicated team for the classic versions, separate from retail. They’re spread out between cata, era and sod, so yeah it kind of does have something to do with it.

i just got banned last week too, becauese they think im a bot while i was farming for argent dawn’s rep. I have submitted two complaint forms, one one has always been a BOT autoresponder and the other is always unread. And their autoresponder always says we’ll get back to you in FEW HOURS.
i dont believe you. but yes the response time is about a week
yeah for devs… customer service would handle anything related to the game. Why would they have different people taking ticket for retail and classic??? It’s not like they even login to the game it would all be done thru some help desk ticketing management program.
