Yet apparently our rush into your territory is indefensible? I just do not get the logic of alliance arguments. If a rush is so easy to defend, why do you guys continue to do it? Why are we not consistently pushed back out of the Bal/shgy/shb area so that we are more hesitant to split our forces doing multiple objectives at a time?
No it’s not the same skill dude lol ally pvpers are in wsg . horde have two options for tanking wsg premade or alteric valley. If you want to win te roll horde is that simple or join a hardcore PvP wsg .
all the good alliance PvP’er stick in their premade and rarely venture outside with pug.
good horde PvP’er are mixed in every AV.
there you go.
Number of things.
Because of the cave horde can get to first alliance bunker at same time as alliance.
However horde can also get to first horde bunker 45 seconds before alliance.
Iceblood graveyard is a better choke.
Horde can attack alliance in vans room without agroing npcs. Alliance cannot attack horde in dreks room without agroing npcs.
All these give horde a clear advantage
I would say “just be happy with losses. #nochanges,” but we know that, in typical Blizzard fashion, they’ll install BFA. They don’t know how to just leave things TF alone.
What I’m curious about is how things changed from winning a good percentage at the very beginning (before premades started showing up) to everybody losing. I’m sure we’ll never have that answer.
Ummmm yes it definitely is. You are 100% incorrect.
90% of the alliance pugs I am in have no healers. We are lucky to have 1 or two healers and one is usually a ret pally or something
When you go up against someone that you know has a crazy advantage do you try harder or just quit because you know it’s futile? Horde aren’t trying harder. They are deluded into thinking that because they have a huge advantage which also makes them think they are “better pvpers”
Doubt all you want; that’s how it was. Fear Ward and the gnome racials were the big ones IIRC.
I don’t know if anyone has also realize the GY, SHGY your Back is to the Wall. Always being blocked in and cut off from leaving. Also Stormpike Graveyard same thing Blocked off, and a bonus for the Hordes they get to be able attack from up above that Graveyard.
But if you also look at the Hordes Graveyards. They are Clear and open, easy to move in and a choice too any which way they want to head out on.
This Is just a couple out of a Handful of advantages the Hordes have over the Alliance Faction in AV.
Rational explantion…due to Q times…one faction tries more and the other gives up faster so they can “just reQ”.
Would you lose as fast as Alli if you has to wait 50+ mins to get into another?
Regardless…Alli are not trying as hard or harder.
What they want is for Horde to play like the Ally want them to, and they’re not going to change their behaviors. That’s the reality of the situation.
I am sorry but, once again, we are listing symptoms and not the root cause. The root cause of the issue is population faction imbalance.
The Result: Horde put everything into it, the waited anywhere from 30 to 120 minutes and the alliance goes, ho hum, I will re-Q and hope I am in a pre-made.
IF the populations were balanced, I guarantee horde would race to. Its what they did in Vanilla.
You want epic battles, put 1.5 back in.
You mean the grave yard that is behind the ib choke and also easy to defend?
You have to be retarded to let alliance get that far unopposed.
Serious question was the horde spawn cave ever moved in the history of AV?
Collectively you would think alliance would be better at AV because they actually get to play it more. Generally more experience doing something makes you better then someone who has less experience doing that same thing right? The reason why alliance lose more often is because of the HUGE map advantage the horde have. The end. Its not because horde play harder cause of longer queues. Its not because horde are overall better PVP’rs(this might be slightly true but debatable) . It isn’t because horde have better racials etc. Its because they have a non debatable LARGE advantage when the game begins for early game objectives. Once they secure those early objectives which is much easier to do for them then alliance, due to the map, the alliance get the wind knocked out of them and they give up. Premades can break the horde advantage and squeak out wins.
I think you know the answer to this but yes it was.
Oh I know. I just want him to say it.
Cave was moved for a reason and all these horde thinking they’re winning because they’re good are being dumb.
Victory or death.
No? Cause that zerg strat sure threw us for a loop the first couple weeks. until people quit fighting amongst ourselves and started working together.
It took more than forum posts. People repeatedly posting the strat in chat helped beat it into our savage brains.
I’d say better at being on the same page to execute a strat but that wasn’t easy to do either. We still have useless bots and afkers too.
That’s always going to be an argument isn’t it? There isn’t even an objective metric to measure this by. Chalk it up to RP and kick some tail. Then RP on the forums about how allies pwn everyone. Yup. Typical Azerothian day.
I am fine with them moving the cave back. But this will not solve anything.
Queues for horde will still suck
Alliance will still lose (due to the players)
You honestly think map layout isn’t why your D matters?
Once horde push to IWB, alliance has no way around it, so your O can hold that choke and prevent people from pushing, then your D just has to pick people off slowly and prevent a GY cap.
Alliance however, you can follow the path to get past IWB or go behind it, from there you can avoid the main path and run straight into the back door. You can also hit DBGY from every angle with alliance only being able to come out the front (can’t do this to the horde equiv.
If you legit think that horde play fundamentally different, then you’re not good enough to give a real analysis.
