PUG stomping can be fun at first but it gets boring when done in repetition. I guess it’s fun for a lot of alliance that have to deal with the AFKers from instant queue and general defeatist attitude against horde.
then form multiple groups? would you rather blizz implement premade v premade where you and your friends only fight other premades? be honest…

I think 5 players is far. Full premade groups should only be in rated BG’s.

Majority of the player base hates premades, the small minority just screech the loudest on the forums. It isn’t even a horde or alliance thing, BG’s are meant to be casual.
If you want RBG’s there are other games, or retail as people always say

So we already cleared our raids and are locked for the week. This server is 99/1 Ally to Horde so there is no wPVP. We’re a bunch of potatoes who just want to have fun, it’s even in the name. Some of us are tryhards, some not so much. But our options to play together and have fun have been lessened.
Playing PVP with my guild is the furthest thing from pug stomping. I did my share of pug stomps in classic and sweated hard with all the other sweats doing the pvp grind. In TBC I’ve yet to throw a grenade or pop a fap in a BG. Just trying to have fun and chill with friends.
It’s probably the first PVP change they should have made.
I hate pugs, how the hell u like to deal with pugs? some people dont even see the chat, they dont even know what they are doing, and afk people, bots, there’s more reason to hate pugs tham premades honey
The fact is that this is only thing that horde didnt change YET cryin in the forum, so they still keep trying, maybe mommy blizzard do something like they always do.

Because for every one game like yours there’s 100 games where a group is only put together with more than 5 for the purpose of efficiently extracting honor from battlegrounds. That would be fine if we played against AI but we do not. We play against actual human beings every time we queue into a battleground. They could limit premades to only fighting other premades but then those would dry up literally overnight because, as I said, the number of people like you is vanishingly small. Five is perfectly fine. You manage to fit your group into dungeons with that exact limitation and you can do the same with battlegrounds.
For what it’s worth I am like you and actually do run genuine partial premades without the intention of sweating it out. Just some guys in discord hanging out, barely coordinating. The number of times we’ve wondered to eachother how the EFC got all the way across the field without us seeing them is pretty wild. You and I are not the majority though, and we can’t sacrifice the experience of the broader PvP community for just our sake. If you want to blame someone blame the people running the sweat premades.
