No Premades anymore is actually absurd?

Limiting the ability for players to interract and play with each other for no reason?

Can someone explain this to me and why it’s a good change?

Genuinely curious, I want to have a dialogue as to why it’s limited to 5 people when I have more than 5 friends I want to play with.

I bet you can think of a reason if you put your noodle to work.

Because people don’t want to play a social MMO, they want to play a lobby game where they can queue up and play and win without trying.

Horde players don’t like it, so that is more important than you playing with your friends.

No, PVP in Classic and TBC in the BG realm was NEVER supposed to be competitive. It was supposed to be a distraction and addition to other aspects of the game.

Arena is competitive. I suggest you look into that aspect if you want a ranked competitive version of PVP.

Do you think anyone likes getting smashed by premades in BGs?

I think premades should play against other premades, but get real.

This is just ridiculous, whenever we finished raiding we’d all pop in a BG

I just don’t understand what this company is doing anymore it’s like a speed run to the same conditions that caused people to leave the retoilet and want classic

I think this is a great mindset and it should be expanded to PvE! No more raids with a group of people you know, lets make it so all raids are a combination of 5 mans put together!

This isn’t about competitiveness or it would have a rating attached to it.

I simply just want to do a battleground w my guildies after we finished a raid.

I think that you’re a horde player who doesn’t like being smashed by premades; and so your opinion is obviously a great deal more valuable than anyone who doesn’t share your opinion.

Cool, you still can, just split up into 5 mans like the PVE crowd has to for heroics. There done.

Sounds like a gigantic inconvenience, what if we get split across different battlegrounds

I think most people do not want to eliminate premades for good but rather make it so premades do not get matched against mostly unorganized pugs which isn’t fun for either side.

If you have more than 5 friends that want to queue for BGs regularly then why not find a few more friends to queue up with to fight against other premades?

No different than PVE players being limited to 5 people per heroic dungeon.

Or 10 for KZ, when we’d love to bring all 25.

This is a good change, it puts PVP on the same player limitations that PVE has lived with for years.

A better solution to this is to allow people queueing in a party of 5 or fewer to only be placed against the same. That way people who want to play together in a full premade can, they just need to do it against other premades.

I think this would still kill premades though because you will find very quickly that people only want to premake for the easy wins.

It’s almost like PvP and PvE are different modes of gameplay

A better solution is for people complaining about premades to make friends in game and premade as well, it’s not hard. Also not all premades are there to stomp out the Pug enemy team. A lot of premades are just friends playing together. Win or lose is irrelevant. People play for fun, weird right?

but here is the reality of things, most premades dont want to face other premades. they want to steamroll pugs for quick badges and honor. if they made it premade vs premade there would be FAR less premades in general. Only a small % of premades actually want to face other premades for competitive fun.

95% of premades are there to steamroll pugs. Stop kidding yourrself.

Gee I dunno, cross faction communication just to set this up with no real reason or gain when we used to just be able to group up, repair and then all que up and go in
