So, you are trying to defend the clowns by being the ringmaster? leader of the clowns?
Do you wanna see a ridiculous arguments? this one is:
you say it brings nothing( false and ridiculous statement because you know it does) so it should be removed
→ You get proven wrong, because it brings things
Then you want to minimize saying tis one thing and nothing more, so still should be removed because, while before it was nothing, now is nothing enough
→ then you get proven wrong again, because its more than one things
you double down saying its not enough, and play pigeon chess, claiming moral highground
You aren’t, you are going to go right back here or somewhere to responde, because you cant help yourself.
Thats snuzy title, your pal, he is doing right now in this thread
Lets see if holds on buddy, you seem extremely afraid it will not
I feel that. I’ve been maining bm since legion. Mostly because they deleted og surv and mm just felt super clunky.
So the overall changes to mm look really promising in terms of how it will feel.
I think that’s something everyone can agree on.
The owl is easily the biggest friction point right now. People either want a pet or no pet, not this super odd middle ground. Especially a random owl, not even pulling from your stable? Like blizz please lol.
This is the part that pisses me off most, I personally can deal with not having the pet as a permanent side thing and not being able to do tanking for me, but being forced to use some bird (I hate birds, personal issues, dont ask.) instead of one of the pets I actually want to use is definitely a slap in the face.
I’m still trying to come to grips with losing Skarr who has been by my side for years. What do I do with the non-spirit beast pets I’ve collected over the years?
Thankfully it only comes down when abilities proc or you use hero
It’s not permanently by your side. Otherwise it would be a MUCH bigger point of friction.
But they did say they are adding customization for it eventually so we shall see what that means.
This is going to be a repeat of the pre-Legion patch. Removing the pet from BM is not much different than removing an entire spec for a lot of players. Having a pet as a Hunter is iconic, and a lot of Hunters hate BM and SV. Forums are going to erupt, and a lot of people will quit again.
I can’t relate, but if it makes you feel better. My main pet is a spider. And she triggers a lot of people
Removing it from mm won’t have the same impact as removing it from bm. Heck, they could remove it from surv and I’d argue it would have about the same impact as mm. But the difference between surv and mm is the pet is a functional part of your rotation.
I know how it is. Again, I do not get why I have to lose my pets that I’ve had for a decade (or more) and just get a random eagle I don’t want.
Especially when they could easily use the same setup with Intimidation as it is now. Instead of summoning that eagle for a moment, summon one of my pets. (Or maybe just the first one in the list.)
Frost Mages had their permanent Water Element for 7 expansions vs Vanilla + 2 expansion without. Blizzard took it away anyway.
I hate it so much when MMO developers change the class you been enjoying for years and turn it into something unrecognizable. There is a reason I play that class …
It’s so unnecessary too… Hunters are supposed to have their pets. That’s the whole point of the class.
Like I keep harping on, they could just have our pet do what the stupid eagle does and still let us summon it if we wanted.
They don’t need to mess up hunters to make sniper enthusiasts happy if blizzard would just give warriors or rogues a fourth spec. Those two classes have always had access to guns, bows and xbows blizzard just took away their ability to use it. Both classes have far more call to be what those people want without having to cut out a third of hunter.
If you really look at it, og warcraft hunters were solo rangers.
Tbh I’m surprised they haven’t done a solo sniper sooner and made it permanent.
And it makes more sense anyway to make a petless hunter than make a ranged warrior.
I’m surprised they made surv the way they did. I would have gone the direction of d2 javazons. Half ranged, half melee with a javelin/spear.
That is something almost everyone can agree on. People would rather have no pet at all or summon a pet from your stable.
The in-between is causing quite a bit of friction.
