No pets for marksman hunters!

What the heck is this about?! Hunters have ALWAYS used pets!!! There is not a single reason no spec should go without them!!!

Hunter is my fave class, and even though I usually am MM I love my pets. I dont get them for no reason. Taking them away is awful.

MM hasn’t used pets since legion outside of noobs using it for selves and world content.

It is. Spec is getting a much needed rework.

It definitely is. This is fixing MMs lack of utility issues and the balance issues facing the spec.

The minority of people that play with a spec as it’s not designed will either have to deal with it or don’t.

This is something the majority have requested for years.

You have two other specs that use a pet.

Neither of which I enjoy playing. They destroyed Survival by making it melee and now they’re dead set on killing MM for me.This change feels like a devs revenge for getting curbstomped by a hunter once too often in PvP.

The Devs dont PVP. And if they did, a Marksman Hunters Pet wouldn’t curbstomp anything.

I have the opposite problem with new MM. I like the petless fantasy.

The problem is, MM isn’t really going petless. It’s trading both Lone Wolf and the regular pet for a “Spotting Eagle”.

I just wanted to shoot people with fantasy guns… I don’t want a stinky bird throwing off my groove.

This MM rework is making me do something I never thought I’d ever do… Rooting for Tinkers…

Dont even bother engaging with snoze, he’s perfected trolling and will suck you in even though he cant present a single fact on this other than he wants it, so thats all that matters.

In fact, that is the ONLY argument anyone for this can make. They dont want pets, so they should go away despite what anyone else thinks or wants.

I mean, there is already numerous other posts on this, including a 2500 thread post where this is their only argument.

While I miss RSV MSV isn’t ruined.

The changes are fixing MM as it’s been designed since legion.

This change helps hunters in PvP though :joy:

No offense but you seem to not understand the multiple issues MM was having by allowing it to be pet/nopet

I present facts all the time. I’m not sorry you can’t understand the facts.

Here’s three arguments that you will just ignore.

  • Utility issues in pve by having to summon pets.
  • Damage balancing issues. MM takes a massive dps loss having its pet out in aoe situations which doubles the issue of utility.
  • Having to balance between lone wolf and pet causes a MM to have damage issues as both have to be viable.

There’s three factual answers for you to ignore.

Then you clearly haven’t read the facts listed in that thread multiple times.

That 2500 post thread is full of people that are absolutely uneducated on MM commenting about stuff they don’t have a clue about.
