Ive pitched this solution a few times. Generally, it’s favorable received. The exception is, of course, those that need their pet to tank for them. Nothing is really going to make them happy unless they get exactly what they want. Personally, I think this would be the best compromise, outside maybe summoning a pet explicitly as a tank cd, a la Earth Elemental totem.

Except weve had the SAME ARGUMENT over multiple threads and posts. And I explain in great detail while you just throw out “drrrr play bm “over and f’ing over and f’ing over.
And its not over till it goes live. And yes, im stubborn when something is taken away and others are gleeful about it. There is no need to remove the pet and still make the changes. But after the 3000th time explaining it, pardon me if I dont want to do the 3001st time.

This seems to be an awfully drastic change, especially mid-xpac. To me, it’s an entirely new spec, so why not make it that? (I use a pet with my MM Hunter–a turtle tank–and dislike the other specs, but I’d try this new one.

That is the reality.
Difference is I haven’t been calling you a stubborn deluted potato thinking the world has to bend to your wants. And screaming to the sky and belittling people isn’t going to get you what you want.
Its happening whether you accept it or not.
They aren’t backing down on a change like this until after it goes live.
If there is a big outcry, they may revert it. However after the big changes that have happened to the other specs, readding a pet doesn’t seem very high on the priority list for at least the rest of the patch, if not xpac.
Then stop. You did this, not me. I was merely pointing out the over dramatization going on.

- Blizzard didn’t do it, so isn’t possible( circular logic fallacy)
- If they do it, they would need to make pet and LW comparable in balance( fabricated issue, that isnt necessary neither need to happen, as you also don’t have prove that it need to be, besides not being comparable for years).

Because it takes all the improvements proprosed by the update, and still give people the option to summon the pet
- You get all the bennefits, no downsides, as LW would still be superior in damage and now with all the utilities people wanted
- People who want to use the pet can still use as suboptimal option to do content
Again, why this is not a fix? if its fixing the issues people had with the pet AND let people have their pet at the same time?
