No one wants to Mythic raid, it's bad

What even are factions if there’s no faction barrier? Different reputations?

Like, once there are cross-faction guilds there are going to be people complaining they can’t level their human hunter with their friend’s orc mage because they don’t have the same quests and can’t get into Orgrimmar. Cue the “Why can’t I play with my FRIENDS?” line.

They’re going to replace “kill the enemy leaders” with “get reputation with these cities which now are not hostile to you.”

Raiding has literally always been the endgame in WoW, and even early on and when WoW’s known subscriber count was at its peak a very small minority of people engaged with the content in ANY capacity.

It just so happens that now there’s another PvE avenue of endgame that exists, and unfortunately it is highlighting MASSIVE problems with how terrible the raid gearing system has been outside of Season 4.

So how many months did your guild take from first boss to last? Same guild as you belong to now?

A useless trope that could have been used as a plot-point, but the only time it ever has, has been used as a means of us coming TOGETHER, not fighting.

The quest logistics is a fair question. I don’t have an answer to that, other than to just admit “this game used to suck, we’re working on it, but all old “faction-specific” content will remain like that. Stick to SL and DF.” I mean, you gotta start somewhere, and revamping 500k+ quests is a tall order.

You know what the answer is going to be, right? You can see it coming just as well as I can.

Factions will be gone in 4 years.

It would be too easy with flex.

You don’t need to mythic raid. You lose nothing by not doing so.

I wanted to Mythic Raid but no guild I was in in SL would let me go. Most did not even have a raid team. I always seem to pick these when searching for a new guild.

Good Lord I am only 6/10 on Normal. Never will get to finish it. Not sure I want to at this stage.

I want to mythic raid, and my guild wants to set up a mythic team for DF. I am excited for the chance to do content harder than heroic.

Guild blows up after the first 2-4 freebie bosses. :dracthyr_love_animated:

Thankfully doesnt seem that way. The rest are former mythic raiders that stepped down and wanna get back into it. I am the only one so far with 0 mythic experience. They wanted to do some mythic in SL but never had the numbers for it till recently.

my prediction is I am gonna get benched after the freebie bosses because I am the one with 0 mythic experience.

Sepulcher is an anomaly, we basically had 3 end bosses in 1 tier and Rygelon/lord of dreads were no pushover either.

I’m guilty of about half of this. I get frustrated at people, but I’m not an officer so I just keep my mouth shut. Also, I generally keep my mental criticisms to my own role, unless I see something really egrigeous. I’m trying to get better, but it’s difficult. -_-

I stopped raiding (heroic) mind you due to the same people dying to the same thing time and again.

Beats blowing up at grandma

There’s a good chunk of guilds that have the same handful of people that make progression difficult.

We have literally 3. It’s the same 3. But we aren’t mean and exclude people. So once we stop making progress I recuse myself to Not rain on their parade or give myself an aneurysm

Since Dragonflight is abandoning all the controversial and negative features and systems I think it will be slightly more accessible but if they removed the 20 people threshold then maybe and making sure all talents are balanced and class too.

If they were capable of doing that I figured they would have done so by now

Why they couldn’t done a better job at balancing and stuff is because of the systems and features that they created for themselves that was the roadblock. And that roadblock has been removed in Dragonflight maybe just maybe that this time they will just have enough time and stuff to do it properly.

I mean they probably could have. I’m not saying it would have been easy.

But they really did just kind of gave up
