No OCE servers for Plunderstorm makes it unplayable

Alls Fair if it goes both ways

Glad you see our frustration.

What complete and utter nonsense.

I think the whole point is that you don’t get thrown into a different regions game, that region gets that regions game mode, so no US crying about getting thrown into 200ms like they do whenever they get put into an OCE LFR instance.

Why would putting another data system in the way of the packets reduce latency? Routing your packets to another thing and THEN to the servers just increases the time it takes for packets to be sent/received.

Genuine question. My understanding has been VPNS should never be used in gaming.

exactly americans complain so hard when they get thrown on our servers and then deny we have lag in this game mode, dumb

Bump for OCE justice

The NA crew in here with the “that sounds like a you problem” mentality is real.

Watching Pikaboo play plunderstorm compared to what it feels like to play in Australia is 2 completely different games. People are constantly out of range of axe/fish and melee attacks because of the latency. Slicing winds sent me under the world and DC’d me too. Wow runs at 59ms latency but Plunderstorm is over 200ms. For a game mode made almost entirely off of aimed skill shots the ping is pretty much unplayable. It’s still easy enough to finish top 5 but can never beat the perfect ping 1v1 at the end without some crazy luck on your side.

Still winning games on 250-300 ping, how are you American’s losing fair fights to teams on this kind of ping? kind of embarrasing

Bump. This is still a problem the second time around.

Get faster internet, necromancer.

Do you know how the internet works?

Apparently they don’t understand the thing called Distance from Server systems
and it shows really how lacking of knowledge of the internet is to them

I have a feeling they can clearly see the data and must’ve realized it’s NOT as big and popular as very loud minority on Internet makes it to be. Hence they didn’t bother having a separate OCE only server.

I just play until I get the daily done then just whatever happens, happens.

Why not tell us then?

It’s not a matter of them not understanding, it’s just that they don’t give a damn. They’ll still get their 20% extra subscription money from OCE whether they bother using the existing OCE infrastructure or not.

The fact that OCE players can’t hit a stationary player target directly in front of them due to latency is meaningless to them - if you want a good experience you should move to freedom-land.

In case it slipped your notice, Blizzards shifted to “minimum effort, maximum gouge and recycle” mode over the past few years. If they can get away with not doing something, they will.

And they’ll charge more for it.

Meh, we live at the bottom of the world away from all the crazy stuff happening over there, I’d take our real life server any day lmao
