I think WCIII: Refunded was really telling. A classic, cornerstone game beloved for decades and still played. Gutted and poorly rehashed for money, with an actual loss of content.
Wow is not the wow of classic / BC days even if people play on those realms.

I guess we better start looking for a new game world to live in.

Always on the hunt here! It looks bleak for the next few years, but I have my eye on Ashes of Creation, at least itāll motivate me to upgrade my current gaming rig!

Yeahā¦
I was really hoping to be able to make my Alliance High Elf this expansionā¦ guess I canāt do that. =/
I want blood elf hairstyles and hair colors for void elvesā¦ atm only the Horde can create high elves.

If they donāt give pandaren the Shado-Pan armorā¦ Iām going to be disappointed.
I donāt want to go, I love living in Azeroth. It has Draenei! And Goblins! And Trolls and Orcs and everything! Yeah, itās war torn, yeah itās full of monsters and scary world ending threats and all that but I like it here nevertheless.
Iām comfortable

An additional issue Iāve noticed with WoW is just how little problems seem to be just ā¦piling on. Old world armor no longer looks good as it used to; bikini armor looks especially bad on female Orcs, Trolls, Blood Elves and Night Elves and their allied race counterparts. Female Night Elves still have some weird animation freeze when sitting. Nightborne player characters just donāt seem to have been made with the same quality as the NPCs.
Just all these ā¦little problems. Damn it, for some reason, every patch or two, Lightforged Draenei roars (for both sexes) STILL get bugged out and use stock Draenei roars. The male one isnāt so bad, mind you but the female one?
āCoUrAgE! dO nOt FalTeR!ā Th-thatās not a war-cry Blizzard for goodness sake. Why does this keep happening to the Lightforged Draenei anyway!
Ugh, this game. I love it so much but thereās so many issues with it that just never seem to get fixed; or if they do they end up breaking again later on.
Thatās to say nothing of the fact that ONCE again Trial of Style appears to have no new season. No season 5 again. No new outfits to win tokens forā¦just ā¦why??
Good grief itās disappointing.

Iāve said this once and Iāll say it again, I really hope Blizzard decides to go back on this decision to halt character customisations for the rest of this expansion.
This thread and many more on WoW forums, EU forums, Reddit and MMO Champ is actual living proof the players are really passionate about how their character looks, be it for RP or generally just liking a cool look for their characterā¦
Seriously, this decision seriously has been the most disheartening one theyāve chosen to make.
Many Races are in dire need of more choices, Allied Races in particular, how hard is it for a multi billion dollar company to hire a small group of designers to focus on Character Customisations?, might I also add has limitless content, their can always be more and more choicesā¦
Iāve never heard of a game having too much customisations being such a bad thingā¦
Edit: I just wanted to mention if they hired new designers for character customisations and finally at a place they are happy with then they could move the team to help design more transmogs, class sets and more!.

Itās just so strange. And it does seem like a lot of the weird decisions over the years have beenā¦ I donāt know how else to put it; consistently outdoing each other in being bizarre and/or stupid?
Itās really odd that theyāve never tried delving into the community for talented folk either, despite there clearly being quite a few willing to try their hand at potential customization ideas for -everyone- to enjoy.

is the problem, Blizzard is afraid to stop being a puritan and change its ESRB to PG-13 and lose sales.
Like Kharazan Crypts story
Knowing that:
- Veterans are no longer children.
- Children who become adults will stop being children
You havenāt seen the Snyder Cut and why is it R-rated?
we need more for fans and only for fans, no another monkey writter which in the end is the same as we saw in previous patch and shows it as new.
Blizzard should be more serious in its video game, and not only in gore violence, and adult content, but also something more artistic.
As a JRPG style, not Kame Kame Haās in raid bosses, and nothing from Final Fantasy SEVEN, but more experience in other content based on JRPG such as Magitecnology, but without it being only Gnomes or Draneis, something more expansive.

Itās clear they trying to just maximise profits, but in the end they truely just hurt the player baseā¦
Iām a huge believer of āYou gotta look good, to play good ā

Iām not ā¦entirely convinced by the puritan thing, myself. Maybe thereās a component to it, sure; but if that really is the case, how come we donāt get the covering outfits of Nightborne NPCs, for instance? Why not the Night Elf WArden armor? So many great sets that couldāve been acquired via challenge mode content or Trial of Style, or something like thatā¦ and yet no, for some reason, it just doesnāt happen.
I always found it strange that there wasnāt a violence toggle in this game. Like, Warcraft 3 (Classic and Reforged both) are quite bloody. In a cartoony sort of way, but still bloody. WoW for some reason, doesnāt share this. You see little splats of blood in melee combat but thatās about it. Itās very brief, and not always easily noticed.

I would kill for HD remodels of all the past tier sets bringing them up to the standards we have now!!

I would be so, so, so happy if they HDād up old world armor models. Hell, maybe if they changed how armor fits on character bodies as well; to improve the fit, or something. So much that could be doneā¦ but there are things that need fixing still too.
All those layoffs definitely donāt paint a very promising future; not just for this game, but for Blizzard in general. COULD be pessimistic to the situation on that part, of course, but ā¦itās hard not to feel demoralized by it.

I would have asked the same thing in female Belfs like those of Warcraft 3 sorceresses, and like this cinematic.
But more they focused again on the alliance without forgetting that it was never
a Legacy armor for this race (and that armor was unisex).
And yes, the Bikinis armors only ends in TBC, and therefore it is a big auction business to only farm in Vanilla zones or Outland zones for panties for fanbase, a new variety of Shivarras, Succubus, Valkyies and the depraved ones of the kirians appeared in Mini skirts or summer-spring underdress and we only have more Gerald of Rivia accessory, and something for Druids only, it will not even be known if she will have Sylviaās exclusive covenant Maw set in this expansion.
They couldnāt do better customization on the rest of the races just for political reasons, and the Transmog Systems is getting dusty that they donāt have an upgrade, but really an upgrade (not that stupid one shoulder on one shoulder) excellent that affects the game design apart from giving us better freedom to add transmog without having to change a low armor level.
Apart from not having better customization set after 8.0

I use to have so much high hopes for WoW, but after disappointment after disappointment, itās just numbed my hopesā¦
After all the shenanigans blizzard has but me through I just never expect much anymoreā¦

Understandable, to be perfectly honest with you. I still love the game but good grief the things that need fixing. And they keep making choices that just donāt actually do anything good for the game in the long run. Little things, mostly, but then occasionally something kind of big; like this with customization.
The forums always have āWoWās gonna die!ā type threads and I mean, maybe theyāre not entirely wrong. But itās more death by a thousand paper cuts than an instant one.

It would be nice to be proven wrong, though. I still try to hold out hope, even if itās flickering these days.
I never feel WoW will die, but I do strongly believe people are getting fed up with very poor decisions from all the I quit threadsā¦
I love WoW, when I leave feedback on the forums itās because I want to see it flourish again like it has in the pastā¦

Definitely. Iām in the same boat for the most part; though I am admittedly more convinced WoW will die eventually. Just not so convinced that I havenāt stopped logging on or would be in any mood to bombard the forums with āitās dead folksā styled posts.
I too want to see it flourish. I love the World of Warcraft!
