Nope, youāre basically demanding that people should do what you specifically want rather than whatās actually necessary for the game to function, such as actual artwork for upcoming content. in the middle of a pandemic where production is lowered. Basically, youāre a spoilt brat
Now if I was sold a product with the express intent of the company more options were coming then the company go no you are SoL I would be mad too which I am.

He has a right to his opinion. But people complaining about this isnāt really about the news. Itās more about the bait and switch tactics that reminds us of the dark days of WoD. Itās more about trusting the company. I can understand if they said due to covid we are prioritizing getting the other content out. We are sorry we can not prioritize customization right now but we will see what we can do about at least the allied racesā¦ but they said not in shadowlands, we want to put it in with other content. There isnāt good reason to do it right now (paraphrasing here), which sounded a bit tone deaf. And the way some devs talk like lawyers make it sound like oh hey this is happening sooner then it really isā¦
It is fine they are focusing on main content, but it isnāt really fine to lead players on. Which is why I am actually glad they were honest in the QA to a degree. The marketing as a ācustomizationā expansion was a bit deceptive after launch. And content rewards seem to mostly benefit players that do grouped activities. As of now I unsubscribed but still have a few months of game time. I will see if blizzard does anything to remedy the situation. Or at least improves other aspects of the game like solo play and soloing old content. The scaling hurt soloing old content and it seems like we canāt really solo much more stuff then we could at legion. Korthia and Torgast are my only real hope of any fun for recent patches. As blizz tends to for some reason corrupt a wish what players want.

Thereās also the issue where they claim that they canāt possibly add any new customization options anytime soon when they literally created new customization options that have yet to be implemented.
What happened to some of these customization options that were shown and never added? Did they get lost in a hard drive crash or something?
Also, what happened to the eye shape options that they showed off at Blizzcon? You canāt make Human eyes wider or narrower like what the Blizzcon preview showed, which is especially ridiculous for female Humans who have such huge, round eyes by default.
Itās not like they donāt have the ability to have some options move geometry around the eyes.
Iād at least like to see some of these options get added and others like the new Human hairstyles get extra polish (the new Human hairstyles look like wigs due to lack of blending textures).

That statement right there is why they should hire people specifically for the customization side of things. Yeah weāre in a pandemic, but the thing is, during these trying times, people are in need of work too. Instead of booting mass amounts of people from the team, and even paying them so low compared to other companies, which is why you often see so many people jump ship from Blizzard, they would come out with a positive reaction from both the community and the art team who now have less to worry about and more time to focus on other projects in the game.

If you told me your gonna give me 50 bucks in 2 weeks it is not ok if you wait 2 weeks and then give me 10 bucks. You said 50, now fork over 50ā¦ if you didnāt think you could spare 50 then you shouldnāt have said 50. Your problems are not mineā¦fork over your 50 Blizzard! And next time donāt say it if you canāt do it!!

You would think profits would be UP during covid because of all the people stuck indoors.
I was there in march. Classic servers were absolutely packed beyond capacity. The memes about toilet paper filled trade chat.
Blizzard definitely saw an uptick in players from covid, and didnt respond properly.

Why is this so hard to hire a specific team that will work on customization, they have the budget and its not really that time consuming proving that some of the community already played with costumization and did amazing work, WITHOUT BEING PAID

I was so excited to see what they had in store for Nightborneā¦ theyāre my 2nd or 3rd favorite race. I canāt believe theyāll stay the same for 2 years at leastā¦ IF Blizz decides to give us more options.

you believe, and worse for the customization not only in racial appaerence.
but in our transmog system I wanted a better transmog system in the case of low-level armor to our class as for example: mail class can do customization between leather and clothe, or Plates use any type of armor as customization (sorry cloth class) but nevertheless lacking more detail in a great majority like 95%.

There is really still more to the customization systems, and seeing that it was only used for political nonsense rather than for a new experience in the game, I think that in the end Blizzard is not taking the gameplay base seriously anymore. your players.
