No Iâm disappointed we wonât be getting anything period, like they said âYes but ARs will be later in SL through the .5 patchesâ and then yesterday âNo sorry we like what we did and feel itâs finished, no more racial customizations.ââŚ

Iâm because I was excited to see allied race customization mostly at the very least. At least in BFA we had allied races to look forward to. Now it feels like we will have to wait years for anything with new customization.

Well of course. This is Blizzard weâre talking about.
Long, LONG gone are the days of them working hard to make a good product. Now, itâs all about doing the absolute barest minimum to keep the game afloat while delivering as much return to investors as possible. They only put in work on things theyâre certain will get them as much return on time investment as possible with only as many man-hours as are absolutely necessary. Character customization simply didnât make the cut, and they donât care what we think about it unless we all start leaving the game in droves.
Period.

Sad but true. WC III Reforged showed how bad it really is.
Going back on customization is a major disappointment.
Why even ask the players for feedback when they donât have any plans to work on it?

Iâve never been a âBlizzard basherâ on the forums, but this just seems so damn out of touch from the community. It also doesnât deliver on the promises that the company made to their consumers, which feels like a smack in the face.
Bad ethics.

The developers will continue to starve the players asking for customization/model improvements so they can time them for release with the next expansion as ânew contentâ so you continue buying and subscribing.
The developers donât care that WoWâs character customization has always been an afterthought, while other modern MMORPGs have eclipsed them with customization options.

I will never understand why they took out things that were already finished enough to preview as part of their sales pitch. And no, I donât believe there was some huge backlash/âno changesâ movement from the players.

And Blizz has lost my sub. Had two accounts with em (Lost the first cause of regional issues and couldnât remember login credentials) Literally restarted from the bottom up for this game, thatâs how devoted Iâve been, but the lies man⌠Blizzard isnât the same studio it used to be. It canât all be pinned on one person as itâs the studio as a whole failing us, but really⌠Iâmma pin it on Ion Hazzikostas. Get rid of this jabbering ape that only puts resources to things he wants, and replace him with someone that cares about the game and community as a whole and will lead it to glory.

We wonât be getting anything for SL. But I believe that with enough persistence we can make them add something after SL or for launch of next expansion. Donât give up!

Yeah, persistence doesnât work unless it applies an effect to Blizzardâs wallet. AKA. Unsubbing en masse. Thatâs what Iâm doing for now, if Blizzard doesnât change and make good on their promises then I donât see why I should support them.
I might put my money to a game and company that seems to actually care about their community like FF14. Shrugs I love the world of warcraft universe and my characters, but with lackluster âcontentâ being pushed and promises constantly being broken⌠It just seems like this game is turning into one of those games Iâll remember nostalgically in the future as âWhat greatness it once was.â

Well I am subbed for only a month for holiday events, then I plan to get into 3D graphics. So I can do content myself if Blizz wonât do.
For FF I just wish they had at least one interesting race to play. None of them are appealing to me tbh.
Even if they did it they would probably lock it behind M15 anyway.
Well it pains me to see that there are literally hundreds of custom models and art assets made for World of Warcraft for private servers and private use. All made by devoted artists and supported by many who would like to see these implemented in game, yet blizzard ignores it.
For FF, I am in agreement, personally I would love it if world of warcraft had the customization features of FF14 like player housing and such, but⌠well⌠we got garrisons. It just seems FF14âs company seems to actually listen to their community. Blizz just doesnât care cause the money keeps flowing from Simps. I would bet that blizz could literally remove character models from the game and have everyone play as an amorphous blob and some of these people would still defend blizzâs choices lol.

Yeah I think Iâm unsubbing, the biggest selling point of Shadowlands for me was new customization and then Allied Race customiztion coming in a future patch.
Iâll be back when ARâs get new customization 
Also kinda sad how so many artists on Twitter make tons of hairstyles, model swaps, etc. but we canât get any in game?

Shrugs Maybe, just depends what Blizz does. This could be my final sign-off if things donât change, but I hold onto a small bit of hope that maybe, just maybe some of the good olâ Blizz still lingers and will re-surface and make WoW great again.
