No more increased customisation in shadowlands. [Requesting a refund]

Getting the changes in to beta implies they are coming soon. Not ever going to mention it again, only to go back and say “We don’t have any plans, at all.”, is a slap in the face of everyone that bought this expansion because of those options.

Even more so, it means they aren’t working on more options for after Shadowlands like they’ve promised.

They said in shadowlands.

No they didn’t.

Aye, and some of those Allied Races could really use some help, too. stares at Nightborne and Lightforged Draenei

I really can’t be bothered to search anything for you.

Literally just quoting you to emphasize THIS!!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That’s fine because you don’t have it. “Implied” isn’t a date. It’s not a promise. It’s nothing concrete.

All I know is that WoW has a golden opportunity to really shine compared to the rest of the MMORPG industry with their A+++ art team.

But they are choosing to close out the lights and pack it in for an expansion not even a year old?

I find that VERY odd from my view. Call me crazy but something is off!

They literally said allied races are getting more customisation options in a shadowlands patch. But denial is your buddy. [quote=“Nyraevyn-moon-guard, post:107, topic:878543”]

I’m not the one in denial. I know that Blizzard only gives open-ended statements and double talks so they have an exit.

That’s simply wrong.

They made concrete points about their next steps but then stopped everything.

Good luck with that.

Dawson said: “Ultimately, just to do it right took a massive undertaking, and a lot of development time, and we wanted to make sure that we committed to that in Shadowlands.
“This is just the beginning for our character customization, I’m sure there will be more hair styles and eye colors, different things that we add throughout the course of Shadowlands and what we’re learning from what people want in the community as a result of that.”

Does this mean anything?

Means the same damn thing I’ve been saying this entire thread. More double talk. Here’s your open-ended statement:

It should also be noted that they did not say which races they might focus on at all for new customization options.

Keep in mind that the OP is a Worgen, a race that has nowhere near enough customization for the Worgen form but Blizzard could easily claim has more than enough customization because “WoRgEn InHeRiT aLl HuMaN cUsToMiZaTiOn OpTiOnS tHuS mAkInG tHeM tHe MoSt CuStOmIzAbLe RaCe In ThE gAmE sO tHeY dOn’T nEeD nEw CuStOmIzAtIoN OpTiOnS Lulz.”

Also, they basically said that only races that didn’t get many options would get new options, which means the obvious glaring problem of scars being exclusive to the new Black and Asian skin colors/faces for Humans will likely never get addressed.

Heck, we didn’t even get the really dark brown eyes and eye shape options for humans that they showed off at Blizzcon 2019 (the Asian faces shown at Blizzcon had narrower eyes than what we got), and several, if not all, of the new hairstyles for Humans incorrectly show as bald when paired with hats. We did get ashy grey eyes, but not dark brown like what we saw at Blizzcon.

Also, those hairstyles that show as bald with hats on retail had underlying hair textures in the Blizzcon 2019 WoW panel, so the textures literally existed somewhere at one point but were never added to the game for some reason.

You are a funny one.

But hey, what ever floats your boat.

If you say so. What I think is funny is anyone believing anything Blizzard says without something like a patch note backing it up.

What’s also funny to me is I want more custamizations but you’re acting like I don’t. I do think Blizzard led people on but I know they made no promises.

But whatever. Keep screaming they made a promise. Maybe one day it’ll make a difference.

Don’t think I’m that naive. Especially not after WC III Reforged. But they specifically asked for feedback. This was rather new for them during the last years.

But going from “we will be making something” to “nothing” that´s uff… bad.

we should definitely delay future content patches and expansions for new hair styles. also people who throw out ‘small indie company’ fail to understand wow operates on a budget. they dont make games to make you happy, they make them to make a profit that will enrich a few people
