No more increased customisation in shadowlands. [Requesting a refund]

Minor to you. Major to me. We value different things. That doesn’t make mine wrong or yours correct.

Out of spite for us with greviences? Not over actually liking it? That’s a bit silly of you.

So you missed the part where he said that they are looking to add more customization to the races that got very few of them on the pre-patch.

They just gave us a ton of customization, if you’re only playing WOW for customization of characters, you’re wasting your money and time

They also said it would be an ongoing thing. The implication there is it would continue, at whatever pace, throughout SL and maybe beyond.

Now it isn’t happening at all and who knows maybe it will at some point. They needn’t have used such definitive statements as “I promise” to have gone back on something they said would happen.

Ongoing doesn’t come with a time frame.

I feel like Blizz brought this on themselves by pushing out SL before it was really ready. If they had actually made sure it was ready, they might have been able to afford to put a bit more resources into customization.

They promised it would be ongoing. Clearly, it’s no longer ongoing.

Nobody thinks they promised X by Y date, all we’re saying is they’ve done a complete 180. They went from being committed to more customization at some point to “we have no plans” and that’s upsetting if you were looking forward to it.

No, but an ongoing priority isn’t something you say you currently have no plans to work on.

If you’ve no plans to work on it, it’s not exactly ongoing, is it?

They had a hard time even getting the pet battle content done in time - a lot of the profession content just didn’t even make it into the game. They made an actual promise the expansion would be out by December 31st, I am doubtful people would be understanding if they had actually broken that promise.

This is the problem when someone promise something… and than come such a response .
No one like lies.

Here is my argument.

If no more customization does this expansion have more content? If not more content than usual in this expansion and no more customization then what is happening lol?

I don’t think they used the word priority in there. You people keep on adding things.

how do you know they aren’t working on it for next expansion.

It’s funny to me how many people are willing to pay blizzard to lie to them. The replies of “There’s things wrong, why quit for hair?” Why are people still paying if things aren’t the way they want? The only real voice you have is your money.

10 to 15 years ago a bunch of us quit because they tried to put everyone’s real names all over the game and tried to convince us this was a good idea. So we all quit before they could do it. Everyone who quit got an email that asked us to come back and they weren’t going to make the change.

Today people are unhappy with an announcement. If you are unhappy, use your money and tell Blizzard you are unhappy. Make them accountable for what they tell you.

I am still riding the hype from barbershop hype all this time.

And the best part of customization is that it is enjoyment that is enjoyed for many years compared to a covenant you will be throwing away in 1.5 years.

Just something to think about.

Because they didn’t say we’re working on it, they said we have no plans. I understand if they wouldn’t want to commit to “we’re doing it next expac”, but they didn’t even say “we’re still working on it and planning to expand on it at some point”. All we got was “yeah we’d like to do that but we have no plans as of now”.

I’m not “you people”, I’m me. I’m not sure why you’re acting like you’re arguing with a bloc. If they never said it was a priority then I was mistaken but getting one word wrong doesn’t change the rest of it; that customization went from a thing they were working on, in whatever timeframe, to a thing that they have no plans to work on currently.

Player housing, expanding glyph system, more customization of races, more allied races are all lost opportunities.

If there isn’t an increase in content to justify losing out on customization then BlizZard actually has put more pressure on themselves to deliver in the first and second patch IMVHO.

They gave orcs/humans a lot. Worgen/Pandaren hardly got anything. Allied races besides void elves got nothing.

Imagine complaining about nonsense like this… lmfao

They literally said ongoing - what does ongoing mean in that context if they were finished/done/didn’t plan on doing more in the future WHEN POSSIBLE.

it is an indication you are fueling an interpretation that isn’t based on fact.

Exactly. I can only voting with my wallet. And unsubscribing is something. But asking for a refund really shows my dissatisfaction.
