And I don’t mean that to be snarky or anything, but there is a limit on when you can claim a refund, and Shadowlands is far beyond even the most liberal refund policy, since the game has been out for 3 months now. You may be able to claim a refund on gametime recently purchased, but you’re not going to get a refund for the expansion, that’s a cost you’re going to have to eat.
I’m not pleased about the announcement either, and I’m hoping that they change course on it if folks provide enough pressure. Ian Bates (aka Red Shirt Guy) has already highlighted the 180 pivot and he wants to know why, so here’s hoping that if more people jump on board and be critical of this apparent change that we, at the very least, get a decent reason why they pivoted, although idealy we’d want them to go back to offering more.
The only way you’d get a refund is if you recently purchased the game, within the last two to three weeks or so.
The entire quote direct from source. And a breakdown for others, since I don’t think you are capable of understanding.
Seeing the reaction of fans for the current updates for customization has through posts on Reddit has also been incredibly heartwarming.
Dawson said: “Ultimately, just to do it right took a massive undertaking, and a lot of development time, and we wanted to make sure that we committed to that in Shadowlands.”
“This is just the beginning for our character customization, I’m sure there will be more hair styles and eye colors, different things that we add throughout the course of what we’re learning from what people want in the community as a result of that.”
The team are incredibly proud of and happy with the additions for players in being able to express their fantasy, with Dawson adding: “We hit the mark, there’s still more to go, but we hit the mark.”
First paragragh refers to Shadowlands and how much time it took to do those customizations for Shadowlands.
The second paragraphs refers to that being just the beginning and that they will continue to add more things as they learn from players what they still want as a result of those new customizations added. There was absolutely no time frames mentioned.
I didn’t alter anything, I took the quote from someone else, that’s why it was a quote. We were over this.
No plans means not going to do anything for likley a long time. You have to plan for multiple patches, if not an addon in advance. Doesn’t matter either way. What matters is they went back on their word and they lied, once more.
I mean do you like stupid things like:
“Don’t you have phones?”
Or WC III Reforged that you’re still defending this nonsense?
No plans going forward means they have no plans to ever do anymore of this and that isn’t what they said. They were asked specifically about Shadowlands I believe and that is what they answered.
That isn’t in conflict whatsoever with what they said in that second paragraph.
“This is just the beginning for our character customization, I’m sure there will be more hair styles and eye colors, different things that we add throughout the course of what we’re learning from what people want in the community as a result of that.”
Learn to read and if you can’t maybe you should just stop claiming people are liars because it just makes you look ridiculous.
I have seen plenty of mounts bought from rep vendors in-game. Not sure about other servers. Then at Blizzcon, they openly said that the art team was done by the Second half of BFA. So what is going on? My guess they laid off most of them.
How would you feel if all the mythic shinies and achievements rewarded you with nothing? Would you still do them? Ahahah, No, because you want to show off.
Stop acting like you don’t play for cosmetics because you totally do, otherwise you wouldn’t be playing a basic a** elf.
I never claimed anything like that. You are also ignoring the answer from Blizzcon. I never said “never ever”. But likley not for a long time, very likley not for Sahdowlands.
Yes this still means they lied. They’ve told us they have plans for something, but they don’t (right now).
Wrong, those are indeed clashing. It’s almost funny to watch you flailing around.
They literally said at Blizzcon that there would be no more customizations being added in Shadowlands. That’s what’s got people upset, because one of the big selling points for Shadowlands was customization, and Blizzard stated in several post-Blizzcon 2019 interviews that more customization would be added in future patches of the expansion.
One of those customization options, which was initially slated for 9.0 but was delayed, was the ability to choose between having shoulder transmogs appear on both shoulders, or only one shoulder. Unless Blizzard changes course, this would appear to have been scrapped, which will upset even more players who were looking forward to that transmog option.
I know what they said at blizzcon, I was trying to make a point with that guy he doesn’t pay enough attention nor think about what is being said to be running around calling people liars.
They did not. Not a single person in all these threads have actually provided proof of this. If you want to try go right ahead. Anything they have linked was opened ended with no time frame at all.
Right and that’s a fact.
That’s what was said at Blizzcon. They said at best in the future perhaps. Right now they don’t have any plans (which suggest a long time).
That’s what you claimed I said. Which is not true.
