Sorry it was sarcasm. Keeping it on topic with invite me because I’m just better lol.
Pull the slot machine lever and wait, or make your own group and wait.
/wait
Out of sheer curiosity…
Does the class factor affect your decision making, or is it purely ilevel?
On the few occasions I listed a T8 delve, I found myself choosing a variety of classes over ilevel. I wonder how common/uncommon this is?
Nah, even us good ones are struggling. Spec’s absolute dogwater at the moment.
Idk. Ive had spriests in my group blowing up the meters.
Dog water usually means a few % below which usually isn’t much overall.
I mean, I’d argue that you’re still gatekeeping.
“This guy can get in, but you can’t because you have a lower ilvl”.
Technically even things like the game itself requiring a certain ilvl for doing heroics/LFR and such, those are examples of gatekeeping.
Not that I disagree with your decision to bring the higher geared/ranked person.
I just think that dying on the “It’s not gatekeeping” hill isn’t a very good idea lol.
I hate the meta slaves as much as the next person, but people need to chill with calling being declined from a group “toxic” as a DPS in a sea of like ~40+ other DPS.
Come on now, quit being ridiculous.
It’s a lot more than a few %. There is absolutely no reason to invite an SPriest over an Affliction Warlock, Ele Shaman, Arcane Mage, etc. currently.
It’s salvageable in keys, but still outclassed. And in raid it’s atrocious except for one boss it’s okay on and one boss where it’s supposed to slaughter the last phase but is a borderline liability in the other two and a half phases.
He’s right. Just as I have the right to leave your run if you start treating me like your dog on a leash, DPS is the last class that should feel powerless.
I have no idea how pure dps players have the patience to do Mythic+. Took me 20 minutes to get a +3… and the only thing slower than that would be waiting for a tank and healer to show up to my group.
Gatekeeping is when you limit general access to something. When someone doesn’t invite you to their group you still have general access to m+ just not specific access to their group.
I always accept Rogues cause I feel bad for them.
Saying DPS are a “dime a dozen” is an understatement lol.
They are more common than blades of grass.
M+ feels like Tinder from a dude’s perspective lol. Good luck!
(I don’t use Tinder myself, but I’ve seen and heard the stories. Pretty much dudes all mobbing every single girl on there. And it’s probably 80% guys.)
It’s all about ratio.
2 rogue specs are top tier for M+ right now
See you are just hyping me up for 80.
I enjoy playing anti meta and showing those numbers mean nothing if you play well.
so all the job interviews you failed it was just gate keeping
I don’t run mythics. If I did, I would indeed make my own group because I could control who gets in, gatekeeping. That’s why I commented, because that is gatekeeping. I have no dog in this fight though, just wanted to make it clear that op was wrong.
If you don’t carry me then you’re literally gatekeeping me.
Can someone join without you inviting them? If no, then yes you are literately the gatekeeper lol
Okay but who asked.
