When I did M+ (haven’t touched it yet in TWW), I specifically went out of my way to invite people around the minimum suggested ilvl for the key. I’m casual, I’m doing low keys, Mr. John HighIO can go back to ball-crusher keys where he belongs and leave me and my noobs in peace.

You are correct. One time I did an old mythic 5 and it was my skill limit. I recognized that and I do not feel you owe me anything.
If I was going to start mythics, which I will not even as gear score goes to 690ilev across seasons, I would start my own key and suffer through learning it.
I like delves, but I can see they are a carrot on a stick leading you by your nose to mythics. It’s an easy manipulation to see. If it gets too boring with my low ilev, I’ll take a break.
