You have no place in wow, BEGONE!
But yes that is what you do. Hit up trade and\or zone chat to fill groups. That’s what I did. Sometimes if there is two of you someone works trade chat in a city and the other works zone chat.
I’m aware, thanks. I started before 3.3.0, and experienced the complete lack of a DF first hand. Had to download the Call of the Crusade patch while I was leveling the first (DK) or second (mage the rest of the way after hitting 55 to unlock DK) time if I remember correctly. So yeah, I know my stuff.
Lightforged Draenei were kind of a mistake anyway its good they aren’t in WotLK.
It causes a lot of harm - particularly by making the world a lot less alive with people being teleported into dungeons.
Original Wrath didn’t have LFD until the end of the expansion
I keep reading LFD as Lightforged Draenei and getting extremely confused. xD
I hoped that we’d get a LFG option like with what we have for M+. There’s an option like this in classic, but the UI really needs to be improved on and more people need to support this.
If Blizzard deviates in any way, shape or form, than it’s no longer classic
IMO, they should have never brought Classic back
Classic servers weren’t a bad idea. I just think that some people realize that they can’t live without a lot of the QoL changes made since those versions of the game. They think they want to go back, only to realize that there’s no real going back for them. As I said though, some, not all.
Won’t “hurt anything”?
The devs’ refusal to add in Dungeon Finder is going to kill WotLK Classic in terms of sub numbers. The majority of active players wanted it then, and the majority of potential returning players want it now.
WotLK Classic without LFD is going to result in a smaller, more elitist, more competitive, more hardcore playerbase that is in no way more social. It is going to be more like M+ in current retail than the dungeon experience was in actual WotLK.
LFG was present in the real Wrath of the Lich King.
I think this discussion actually does relate to retail.
You see the same elitist development philosophy popping up in both retail WoW and in the way that devs are making fundamental changes to the Classic versions of expansions.
Both Shadowlands gear progression and WotLK Classic without Dungeon Finder are an attempt by devs to return to the “good old days” where people were forced to group up manually for everything. The only problem with this is that the good old days were actually better for the average casual player, because friction wasn’t artificially re-introduced as a knee-jerk reaction to changes in the gaming industry.
Shadowlands flopped hard in terms of sub numbers, and so will WotLK Classic, for similar reasons. If people can’t just log on and progress their characters without friction and fuss, you are never going to get 10-12 million subs again. The top 1% of players obviously have no idea how to develop a game.
People loved to point to things like “queued” content as what lead to the downfall of the WoW community. Guess we will see if there is any difference after all.
At the very end … not at the beginning
No, people didnt care about LFD when it was SERVER ONLY. The communities were lost when they allowed anybody from anywhere to queue in with you.
actual blood elf post holy moley
WoW sucks. Download Gud Wars 2 and never look back.
The real reason why games started to suck and became what they are right now are streamers and wanna be hard core players.
Something…is off! where is the real one, imposter Tuulinn get behind thee…lol
LFD wasnt even added until like 3.3 anyways
