Generally yes. But the T8 delves are several orders of magnitude easier that the first boss in Heroic. So the delve gear should be several orders of magnitude weaker than heroic gear.
The first boss in heroic is incredibly easy. At worst I would say the first four are about T9-T10 difficulty.
And that’s being generous tbh. First half of H raid is faceroll easy.

The fact that they were advertised as solo content and several people have admitted to only doing them solo kills your argument.
Unfortunately they provide gear. So either the gear gets nerfed so that delves can truly be a non equivalent, or they buff difficulty of delves and increase gear quality respective to difficulty. Seems fair.

Delves and the gear are fine as is. They don’t affect you at all.

No you don’t. You can still use your preferred content to gear up. You make a choice to do delves.

It currently seems fair to me. M+ is the outlier when it comes to difficulty vs rewards. IMO we either buff the difficulty of both H raid and delves or we work on M+ to bring it in line with the other two options.
I’ve got a feeling there will be a bit of all of it to try to bring parity but I think “delves are the problem” is a viewpoint that is missing the whole picture in an effort to compare delves to M+ specifically. Because comparing M+ (the major difficulty outlier) to delves (the reward outlier) is really the only way to make it look that bad.
All of it could use some work and I think all options are still on the table. So I’d prep for disappointment when delves stay rewarding.
Still waiting on those stats.
Delves themselves aren’t the problem. Its the rewards they provide.
It really isn’t when you look at the whole picture rather than strictly comparing delves to M+.

Funny thing is, I didn’t even compare them to Mythics when I started getting my champion track gear. I was all like “Woah. This key does stuff!”
It was THEN I turned switched to mythics and my mind was blown. Mythic 0 to 3s and I’m awarded champion track gear?

Regardless of your opinion of whether they affect me or not, they are in the game, and I am gonna speak on them.
They give out slightly higher than mid level gear. Thats a real problem. They could make an entire set of gear that is only active in delves, and is relegated to grey items in group content. I’d be fine with that. Make it as op as you want in that case!
Unfortunately, efficiency is a thing, and it IS more efficient to pregear in delves rather than M+. Which is a problem.

These are not hard keys. 0s can be farmed for drops daily.
Anyone that wanted to could have skipped delves entirely and upgraded just as fast by farming 0s and low keys via the superior crest acquisition.

The difficulty of M+ generally comes from having to weed out all the Ragnaros, Quel, and Azralon players from my que. Generally 10s are easy if i exclude these servers.
To be fair, I also find them unrewarding. I’d rather we get a currency to circumvent bad rng. Like maybe coins or crystals being able to be used to fill out pieces plagued by bad rng. I know for me it’s a necklace and gloves. I smash tier 8s in my sleep to mostly useless loot. If it wasn’t for the great vault, I’d would’ve quit a month ago. This is an alt, btw.
If they make them harder, I’ll keep playing. If they nerf the rewards so that I cap out in 3 weeks, then I won’t. I like raiding but it isn’t enough to keep me amused all week. M+ isn’t worth playing either way. It alternates between boring and irritating. Not entertaining enough to waste time on.
Seeing that Blizzard wants my money and has never shown great affection for keys below 10, I don’t expect dramatic changes. If I’m wrong, my self worth isn’t tied to this game or any of the numbers in it, so I’ll just move on again.
