Im not against the concept… dungeons always lead up to raids. I don’t think its a bad concept in of itself.
But in the past? people did dungeons early on, then no real need.
Would argue without the vault that would be the present as well. I want to be clear im not one of those weirdos who think gear is sacred for whatever reason. All content should drop gear based around its difficulty.
I would just prefer if delves had delve specific trinkets and weapon procs so they don’t become required by people who want group content.
delves have a proc weapon that’s rather good, trinkets too.
Without vault m+ becomes hero gear and hero gear is a lot more plentiful than myth track.
True its why I would add mythic track. Progress to 11s or 12s then mythic raids. I personally don’t enjoy delves enough to get a grasp on what their rewards should be. Did a ten out of boredom and heroic feels rightish to me but its a small sample size.
That would make m+ more important than ever before.
A large part of the problem is myth track existing in m+.

I think the delve gear stops at t8 because they can’t balance for more difficult content for solo play. And the playerbase lacks self awareness.

delve gear and m+ gear both arbitrarily stop because of other parts of the game being sacred.
And delves as a game mode doesn’t need ilvl to function.
It would be mythic to feed into mythic… if people want to do the hardest content why would it not stream together?
True but I think every class could solo a 11 and heroic track isn’t out there for that.
Because of out of balance difficulty.
And because people want to raid, it doesn’t mean they like dungeon content.

The issue is dungeons weren’t that prevalent in the past, and some people who want to raid dislike dungeons.

Yea early on, not for the entire expansion. And not for as high ilvl, so raid gear is better.
No, you did magister’s terrance. I think you are remembering a false past. I would argue 10 man raids also fit in there.
Magister’s terrace wasn’t even out initially.
And I doubt upgrades are there for people doing black temple or Sunwell (cause that came with it.)
