Nah… I am fine with the current Delves/Loot mechanics. But Blizz can do better for next Season.

If I want to play clickers, I would be playing a clicker game, not seeking it from WOW.
If climbing is what you desire, removing gear from WOW is far better.

That’s stupid. Have stayed with WoW for 20 years now since Vanilla. They have the right formula… get gear to reach higher difficulty content and it keeps giving gear til you reach the hardest. Welfare epics is needed to be given to aid people at lower difficulty. And players who played in Vanilla are Casuals now… welfare epics like from Delves helps. Enough for players to startup on Mythic+ or Raid.
Welfare epics are not needed. If Blizzard wanted content to be easier, they’d nerf it.
It is needed by Casuals and lowbie players. It is useful to veterans as it propelled them to get to harder content. Welfare epics is not enough to beat high level content. That’s why it’s okay. Becoz of this, Delves and its loots seems okay right now.
Welfare epics are not needed for the game to function. If something is too hard, Blizzard can make it easier outright.
Welfare epics exist because some people (like you) play for number go up. Instead of making people to do a list of unwanted tasks to enjoy content, people would be better off if they could just enjoy content.

Please tell me why doing a list of delves that you do not enjoy adds to your wow experience in any way?
That’s pretty much what I do outside Loremaster after getting my “welfare” loot from WQs especially at the end of a season
Log in to check my tenders. Eye roll at the +20 mythics all looking for a tank.
I loved these delves minus the spore one. That one can go die in a fire with Shrine of the Storm too.
I’d rather have 6 more underwater delves than 1 more spore delve final boss

I didnt do Zekvir ??. What for? The blue color is ugly to me. If it gives Gilded Crests or part of getting the Beetle Delve Mount, I would do it. It could be fun to do it but waste of time if you do it not on your max gear level. I would do it before it phases out… the time when I had all the best gear for easy kill.
If you don’t enjoy content, that is fine. Don’t pretend that you enjoy content when what you really seek is the reward.
I had nothing to do becoz I cant do my favorite M+ so I do the bare minimum in Delves… 4 Bountiful Delves per week… so easy and fast. I enjoyed speed runs on it as Solo at Delves 8 (now doing it on Delves 9)… aggro everything and AoE melt them all. It was awesome. I felt great.
But if you ask me to do it every week without loot or upgrade. I would stop on the 2nd/3rd week.
M+ (Pugging) is painful but fun to me. If Delves which is fun but with no loots/upgrade, I would switch to M+ on my remaining limited play time even if it is painful becoz it is still fun to me.
When I get 626 and all on Hero gear, Delves Vault would be totally useless to me. I wont touch it again even though I had fun facerolling it.
I need gear (while having fun) becoz I have a personal goal like KSM or AoTC. The journey going into them is what makes the game fun. It always include gearing, farming the World for buffs and Class skill. If you remove gearing, you are like deleting the journey. That would be boring. Good thing WoW doesnt depend on your awful opinion of deleting gear.

This will never happen , it is a way for players to feel stronger for putting in effort into the game. As someone who doesn’t raid or do M+ it’s nice to be able to still feel strong in open world by putting the time and effort into getting what gear I can. With no gear what progression is there to be made? Why would people push harder content? You make zero sense with this comment.
They aren’t needed but make people feel some accomplishment for their time , seeing your character get stronger has always been part of the game through leveling and gear progression.
You say this but fail to realize some people just enjoy seeing numbers go up and seeing mobs that used to be a threat easier to kill after getting gear.
