No Ion, Not Everyone Who Delves Wants to do M+

I try not to think about what I’m missing out on, but man…

PoE 2 has been passible so far.

I love wow. I wouldn’t be playing if I didn’t but there’s some REALLY good stuff out there. I recently discovered Valheim. I put 750 hours into it over like 7 months. Absolutely LOVED it.

I went back and played some old PSX games last night and realized how much I’m passing up by sticking to WoW >:(

I didn’t say anything about achievements–when I said “progressions” I am talking about flat baseline experience, of which you have zero.

I don’t PVP this expac, why the hell would I chime in about PVP?

That changes nothing about what I said in that family / friends having those experiences and sharing them. Even guildmates make statements about it. Doesn’t mean we can’t contribute simply because we don’t have first hand experience with it.

Imagine the madness if we could do that level of house building. LOL

My opinion is this, that cancerous pestilence called m+ should only reward cosmetics, like the challenge sets from MoP. Also, only raiding should award the best gear, set gear, etc. However, WoW should never be raid-centric, WoW should focus on what the majority of players want to do. If that is m+, fine, I think it’s vomitous, but there are a lot of people who like it. However, I am sure there are a significant number of people that despise m+ too, and delves were implemented for those people as an alternative means to gear up for whatever. If I still raided, I’d be playing delves daily to gear up for raiding because I hate m+. And I do mean I hate m+. I know well the difference between intense dislike and hate, so when I say I hate m+, I mean that literally.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again.

Delves becoming a way to funnel players into M+7 is literally killing the game for me.
Why can’t I have solo Delve content that is both challenging and rewarding?

Delves have been so fun for the casual player. Finally allowing them to feel like they can have decent gear too. Not everyone wants to run in groups and many don’t have time to raid or deal with the elitist M+ mentality that many groups can have. You see it all the time, people crying they aren’t getting picked for M+ because of their spec, or they are not running the current META specs, etc. So many want to avoid all that drama and just run Delves, but have good enough gear to enjoy the rest of the game and not struggle to farm things.

So for that, I hope they do not nerf Delves. They will never please everyone, but they can have a solo and a group option. I understand it makes people not want to do M+ under level 7, but so what. The ones pushing higher keys are still walking away with better rewards for their efforts. Why are they complaining?

Because their egos can’t handle casuals having good gear too.

If you don’t care about the rest of the game, you don’t need the gear.

“The only content is the content i do”

Hun. It’s not about you. If you dont do delves, why do you need people from delves to not get loot (that increases our ilvl and makes our play easier over time)?

You have yet to provide a reason beyond “i need to be the most special little princess for playing the parts of the game i like best”

And feel free to backpedal at any time to say the current system is fine and our ilvl gains via delves is acceptable.

Because loot affects the entire game? duh?

If it were delve powers that made you super powerful, no one would care. Ilvl caps out at a point.

How though? How does loot you will never get effect your game? The other players in your mythic will not suffer for having a higher ilvl. Leavers will still leave, they always have, including before delves! If anything, having a chunk of weaker players leave mythics forever (which has happened since the dawn of mythics that gave ilvl) should filter better players to mythics, because they want to be there.

Also, mythics has its own rating system to help you filter pugs. If someone got loot from a delve their mythic rating would still be 0. You have every tool available to avoid people who may not know what they are doing.

So at the end of the day, why do you need another group of players to not gain meaningful rewards, when it will not effect your gameplay?

It is reasonable to make educated guesses based on previous decisions made by Blizzard.

How does somebody being able to do world content a little easier because they have better gear affect people who push high keys or do mythic raiding? It doesn’t.

Just so you guys know, Faux is on record saying “I have more fun when other players have less gear”. Just a troll.

They have a history of nerfing, removing or ignoring (in following expansions) ways to get loot solo, regardless of the challenge involved. It is a very, VERY, significant pattern for the company. With Ion already hinting at a delves → mythics progression, he is clearly still of a mind that somehow, solo players will do challenging group content to progress. Many of us will not, as we have no desire to deal with group drama and stressors. We will unsubscribe instead.

I can control my actions. I cannot control the actions of people I group with.

If everyone uses delves as a springboard (like they did this season…)
