Group content does to segregate the player base and foster competition.
You could do that with a number next to your name.
The vast majority of what i see in this thread is:
Solo players finally got their own way to gear up without having to do m+.
M+ players, along with their toxicity, bad looting systems, long ques, etc… are mad bc solo players are no longer forced ro deal with them.
Blizz intentionally dropped the low m+ keys to fit delves in but now m+ players are mad bc not enough players are queing. This is after the first month of the expansion where m+ players literally turned down everyone and most had to wait for multiple hours for a spot.
Now everyone realized you can just bipass the craphole that is m+ and go straight into heroic raiding. M+ is obviously mad again bc they dont get control over everyone underneath them.
Pretty sure everyone is just telling m+ that the entire system is just… done and ppl want a more solo oriented gearing up experience.

If this was the case, delves wouldn’t give rewards equal to m+6.

The real reason why m+ still has the representation it still does now is because blizz has forced players into m+ to acquire bis trinkets.

You play a faceroll DPS class, you have zero M+ progression, and you haven’t done any raiding higher than LFR. You are patently unqualified for this discussion.
The fact that you consider a +8 delve “plenty hard” proves you can’t cut it in M±-in short, the problem is you. On my pres evoker AND resto druid I healed +8 delves as a fresh level 80 in GREENS.
I mean I have none of those , I can still speak my mind. Many people including friends believe M+ is toxic and they don’t enjoy it. Just because someone doesn’t have some special achievements doesn’t mean we can’t have any say in a discussion , we have friends and family that do these things and know their experiences with it.
Not enjoying a game mode doesn’t make it “toxic.” Try harder.

Didn’t say it was toxic because they didn’t enjoy it. More that the way it’s set up and much of the players in it are.

Thats fair.
Knowing blizz for the last 20 years, and it is sad that i can say this with near certainty, they will screw delves for m+.
It all comes down to money, #timeplayed, and requiring players to interact in a group setting. They want players sitting in ques for over an hr. They want players running m+ 20+ times for 1 trinket.
They want players chasing vault slots.
I really hope they dont mess with delves, bc it was by far the most enjoyable gearing experience ive had in a long time. Yet, i highly doubt it remains the same.

Same! If they mess it up in favor of elitists I’ll just walk away. I have a ton of other games I could be playing.

Agreed.
I have 4 kids, a career, and a rather plump cat that needs exercising, lol. Im hardly on as it is. If they mess with solo gearing, ill just cancel sub and it wont even be much of a loss tbh.
