No Ion, Not Everyone Who Delves Wants to do M+

I can understand that this is a difficult concept for you.

People mean that increasing the rewards there wouldn’t entice them to play content they don’t enjoy, or that increasing other people’s rewards wouldn’t detract from they’re experience. I agree on both counts.

Conflating that to the removal of reward isn’t logic. Delves needs to provide players with increasing power to combat increasing difficulty. Just like all forms of content.

So, relative ilvls do not matter. Glad we established that.

Not everyone plays at the top level, or even +10, those people are more impacted.

The rewards are better though. Full stop. People just have this perception that getting more Champ track gear is somehow beating out Myth track gear each week and Crafted gear.

Which again I don’t believe that any M+ player of Mythic Raider actually has an issue with delves rewards unless they just flat out suck at the game or they are just trolling/haters. Delves are fine at what they are: a source of content for solo players.

Did we? Cause I am pretty sure that I said

Reading is hard. Relative iLvl compared to your old iLvl aka Numbers go Up

TL;DR people who like doing M+ think the reason they can’t find a group is because delves exist, and not because the current state of M+ sucks right now, everyone are meta slaves, and it’s entirely just the M+ community itself being the problem outside of the devs needing to make some changes to healing/tanking maybe

Nerfing rewards in delves will not make it easier to find people for keys or make your keys go smoother. It will genuinely do nothing positive for you if you enjoy keys, and might even make it worse because people do get enough gear from delves to try out keys and increase the player pool of potential people to play with.

The only people who care about nerfing gear in delves are the people who sell key carries because it’s eating into their market. Genuinely anyone who enjoys doing keys doesn’t and shouldn’t care about gear from delves. You’re either lying or being an idiot if you do.

So as long as numbers go up, you’re happy.

And numbers can go up, and be way lower (relatively) on the reward scale. People are more motivated to do other content. Game is at a more natural place progression wise.

When I have to bump heads with other players especially those who outgears said difficulty it doesn’t seem like it is.

Blizzard wants to push group loot, that’s fine by me. I just won’t touch it

Not even this. A person who does delves only is likely not a person looking for a key carry or raid carry. I quite literally believe people hating on Delves are the same people who get mad about LFR existing, aka dumb rat tier people who have nothing better to do.

I bet some of them are just jerks, but I bet there’s genuinely plenty of people who are losing money selling lower key carries because delves exist. The market for lower key carries doesn’t even exist anymore because of it. People who sell carries are genuinely making less money and they post here/Reddit/other social media complaining about “delves giving too good of gear for the difficulty” to try to nerf it so they can make more money.

Thats just chaffing with a social aspect of the game regarding competition. Which is fine because Delves are there to allow people who do indeed don’t like some of things to have some meaningful content compared to what was there in the past.

It’s sad that you really believe this. Numbers go up in m+ and raids now when compared to delves. People still don’t want to play content they don’t want to play.

Funny thing is, from all my experience of doing delves there are actually people with 2.5k IO experience doing them

People really forget you can you know… Group up in them and if I’m seeing high rated M+ players doing them it makes arguments like it damage group content silly.

They go up for the top 25%, more or less. And renders lower content super unrewarding.

And most people? they aren’t part of the top 25%.

(Think completion rate basis, we’re probably at 35% now.)

LFR isn’t really an issue anymore since they added flex/normal.

A wall between LFR / heroic.

Sure but people make wayyyyyyy more money selling higher level keys over lower level keys over and above.

Not that I could care a single bit about people unable to sell carries. They can kick rocks. Singed by a person who does sell carries some seasons.

Unrewarding from a strictly iLvl perspective. If the content was fun, people would do it.

People are heavily motivated by ilvl.

People to this day still whine about LFR lol

It’s a lot less vs inception where normal/flex didn’t exist. Cause most don’t feel like they have to be there.

I mean I’m probably going to do all the Delve stuff after we’re done with raiding for the Tier just to blast past it. But I’m going to hazard a guess that the 2.5k IO people are doing Delves on their Mains for the sake of the content rather than the rewards.

I am sorry you don’t play games for fun, but also those levels give the same rewards as delves, but are much more repeatable.
