I was referring to this. And I even agreed it is not legendary and that Blizz learned their lesson. Which is why Cyrceās Circlet (the new ring) is not a legendary. You can back off now.
Not exactly a shocker considering the car is the gimmick for Undermine. It will be fine.

I think there may be a misunderstanding, please donāt get upset. I said I wasnāt sure what you meant that āthey learned their lesson,ā when the legendary is very different from these rings. Itās confusion on my part. Thatās all.
Legendary questlines ended a while ago. But no one was against those. People disliked the PvP portion of the cape questline and the fact that the questlines were removed, but they werenāt game breaking. So I didnāt quite understand what the ālearned their lessonā meant there.
The Onyx Annulet was, though. It was hilarious watching groups go into raids with no healers and just the Annulet. LOL
So in that regard, Iām not sure if thereās ālearned their lessonā from the Annulet to the Circlet yet, since we donāt know if they made sure groups couldnāt do the shenanigans again or not. I guess weāll need to see if raids start forming without healers again!

These forums are just absolutely loaded with PTSD moments. If we could get rid of the copy-āpastaā warrior, the spammy paladin king of Stormwind, and an angry little dwarf who doesnāt play and isnāt subbed, the forums would be a much better place to navigate and my frustrations would likely vanish entirely.
Iām willing to suspend judgement until I see it ā flying in an urbanized area could be more trouble than itās worth. And we finally get a version of the goblin starter zone car. If itās got a radio in addition to dynamic action, that would be awesome.

If they make the car really fast I would personally find it a lot more fun zipping around the zone and crashing into buildings and other things.
im honestly exited for D.R.I.V.E and its potential. Already had a hunch that there would be no flying because of it. Its supposed to have bustling city feel and cant do that flying over it
Once again BlizZard going with a gimmick which no one asked for when people are asking for bug fixes, class balance and more content to do.
Here let me put in plain english:
Rental systems = not content.
Traveling gimmicks = not content.

LOL I do find it funny that Blizz is so desperate to not have flying they did an entire xpac about being underground. Ion doesnāt have the cajones to just delete flying outright, not even his job would last long if he did that. Instead he just tiptoes as close to that line as he can.
It is weird how obsessed they have been with it for years now. Just letting people fly around really isnāt that big a deal.

Thats a good idea. Personally I am a fan of pathfinder and was disappointed that dragonflight didnāt have that option of using ground mounts before you able to fly.
Even though it seems like that will will never go back to ground mounts before flying because of zones now being designed with dragonflight in mind.
It nice to see that some places are going to be ground mounts first.
If you donāt like flying then USE YOUR GROUND MOUNTS and quit whining. You already have a solution to your problem if you donāt like flying, where as if my skill is stolen from me I have no remedy for it. If you want to go slower leveling, by all means you do you as no one is going to stop you. Likewise what you donāt get to do is demand I be restricted because YOU think itās too fast. Sorry but youāre not that important. Youāre allowed to like what you like and play how you like, but when you start demanding I or others like me be restricted because of YOUR immersion, then we have a problem. Use your ground mounts and quit whining about people like me who have zero effect on your ability to play the game.
Next if you want to have a say in how I use my mounts, you can pay my sub. Then and only then do you get a say. Simply because something took longer to do, such as taking longer to level does NOT automatically equate to a quality experience or make it good. If you want to take a week to level, you should be allowed to do that. If I want to do it in 8 hours, I should be allowed to do it. Both of us win in that instance. Simultaneously, you donāt get to demand myself and others play like you because you donāt like how weāre playing. You donāt get to have your cake and eat it too which is your problem.
And before you try to give some kind of excuse as to why you canāt simply use your ground mounts, no one is going to hold a gun to your head and say āfly or else.ā If you choose to fly even though you say it ruins your experience, thatās 100% a you problem. That would be like me playing Survival Hunter even though I despise it.
See Bulmeyās post. There are absolutely people whining about it being in the game. I get that some folks may not like it, in which case they can use their ground mounts. That said itās ridiculous that they keep stealing one particular skill from people and saying āre-earn thisā over and over again. Something like the Maw made sense not to have flying due to it being a constantly changing zone controlled by the Jailer. Outside of very very select instances like that, or instanced content such as BGs, dungeons or raids, there is no valid reason to have it restricted in todayās day and age.

The game was more popular when flying was restricted. Games dead now because the leveling experience completely fails to hook players.

I donāt know, I donāt feel like the TWW zones were designed with dynamic flying in mind in the slightest.
I very much donāt care for the idea of a car mount as a big feature but thatās just me. Not a car guy.
If they donāt add flying to those new zones Iāll just do what I need to do there, and then never return.
