I would actually welcome the removal of all flying EVERYWHERE while in Warmode. Paired with unrestricted real flying (and Dragongliding) everywhere when NOT in Warmode. Because that would never adversly affect me. No more Pathfinder spitegates. Freedom to go to TI, Argus and the Maw.

Doesn’t matter, it’s just a phased pvp server. No different at all. All the same activities are there but players can attack each other.

And world pvp is still very much occurs in war mode whether you want to deny it or not.

Pvp servers didn’t have a boost and WM shouldn’t have a boost. If you need to bribe players to participate then it’s not very fun now is it.

And again, the reason why WM has a boost is to incentivze people to keep it on in situations where they would naturally turn it off.

Lots of zones can’t be navigated without flying/skyriding.

No, I’ve spent YEARS watching pvpers gloat and continue using wpvp as an excuse to deny everyone flying. I’ll call out any pvper that’s against flying and trying to take away MY fun. I’m not trying to take away WM, I don’t care that it exists but the vast majority of pvpers would take away my flying in a heartbeat.

That’s why I don’t like WM people or wpvp people.

It is a way to offset that natural ineffiency that comes with a mode that you can easily turn off on a whim is what it is.

If they were set on “bribing” people to do world pvp, then PvP servers back in the day would’ve had the bonus.

I’m not at all lobbying for flying to be removed. Nobody is.

And that one time that they were going to take it away, the entire community was vehemently against it.

Also you do realize that Undermine isn’t the first patch zone that doesn’t allow flying right?

DF didnt, Shadowlands had the Maw, BFA didnt have any, Legion had Argus,WoD had none, MoP had Turtle Island, Cata didnt have any, Wrath had none either, BC had the 2 race zones and IoD.

That was kind of fun to go backwards, like a sobriety test,lol.

We get GTA and honestly even THAT feels like too much, just given how small and cluttered the zone is, especially initially without completing some quests to enter a phase in some areas without mobs, otherwise there are mobs and obstacles EVERYWHERE there and it still suffers from DR disconnect on impact.

And by the way, this is one zone you WON’T want to fly over, every building has interesting things, one is just a CLOTHING STORE. I ran through one that was apparently a Medium place, cause there were high backed chairs, crystals, and crystal balls everywhere.
