No flying in 11.1 zone Undermine according to new dev interview

I don’t see an issue. They’re giving us a new way to get around that thematically fits the zone and makes more sense for its size. Besides, I’ve wanted those cars since Cataclysm.

True. Hunters could feign death, rogues could vanish, etc. But a number of classes just had to slog and fight their way through every mob and it was awful.

people complain they have to actually play through new content… lol

How would adding flying to certain zones would ruin them for you personally?

Why does giving something thematically means something else must be taken away?

GTA MIami isn’t new content.

I can book a flight and see it myself in a few hours.

I’m just hoping their will be collisions and pile ups!

Because it would ruin the world pvp that occurs in them.

No it wouldn’t. First, wpvp is useless and barely exists anyway. Second, if people want to fly away and not engage with you, too bad.

Sick of seeing wpvp as the opposition to flying.

Spoken like someone who does not regularly play in War Mode.

And if you want so badly to fly in Undermine, too bad. It’s just a patch zone that will become irrelevant in 6 months.

“I don’t like this activity, therefore I shouldn’t have to see it used as an argument against something!”

You’re right, WM sucks. Wpvp sucks.

And if it’s not fun I’ll just unsub until we get an area that is fun.

If flying “ruins” your wpvp then people didn’t want to wpvp with you in the first place.

Cool, then you don’t have to play in War Mode.

But some people do like it believe it or not.

How do you know Undermine isn’t fun when you haven’t played it yet?

Well then those people probably shouldn’t be playing in War Mode if they don’t want to world pvp.

And you have it. Did I say I wanted it taken away from you? No, I don’t believe I did.

Do you know how “if” statements work? Where did I say “it is not going to be fun”? Don’t try to change what I’ve said just to fit your argument.

Then take away pve rewards from WM. The only reason pve people play WM is for the boosts. Take those away and see how popular the mode is.

World PVP is not going to make a comeback.

But you are acting like you know what it entails when clearly you don’t.

Only if they swap back to having PvP servers first.

In case you are unaware, the 10% boost was added to offset the natural ineffiency that comes with world pvp. If you took away the boost, anyone that is slightly inconvienced by world pvp would just turn off war mode, then turn it back on again.

With PvP servers, you were locked into the choice you made.

Implying that it ever went away in the first place.

I’ve played on a pvp server. Even got to max level. It sucked. I know what it entails.

Why did it need to be offset? Shouldn’t people turn WM on just for the thrill and enjoyment of wpvp? Blizzard literally has to bribe people with a 10% boost just to turn on WM. That’s pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Ah, there it is. You just want trapped rats for your enjoyment. That’s literally the only reason you’re against flying too.

Another Ion L. They’ll reverse course like they did in WoD.

But you don’t play in the current iteration of war mode.

I literally said it in that post:

That was not something you could do with PvP servers.

Hence why I stated that if the boost were to go away, PvP servers would need to return.

Not that I believe that should or will ever happen.

Projecting much?

Incorrect actually.

Doesn’t matter, it’s just a phased pvp server. No different at all. All the same activities are there but players can attack each other.

Pvp servers didn’t have a boost and WM shouldn’t have a boost. If you need to bribe players to participate then it’s not very fun now is it.

No, just accurate.

So you’re in favor of flying in the new zone right?
