Oh really? There’s another version of TBC with dual spec?
Oh really? Nothing stopping me at all from doing this?
Not even time itself?
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.
So a woman (or man btw) walking down the street in lingerie should expect everyone around her to not react at all differently?
What?
The way you choose to present yourself will ALWAYS affect how others react to you.
Hey the hearthstone is cool. I love hearthing through the dark portal.
Ghostcrawler’s opinion is a lot like a butthole. Everyone has one, but his is excrutiangly stinky.
These are very useful to the human body. Without them, everything would just fall out.
You do realize that you can have thoughts on someone’s clothing but make no comments about it right?
If I choose to wear a shirt at a hacker convention that talks about penetration testing, why would you feel the need to make a sexually charged comment about it? As a man I wouldn’t expect you to understand what we go through when every part of our body is sexuallized and we are scrutinized for anything and everything we wear. It’s not your place to make a comment on what I wear.
Wearing lingerie out in public can get you slapped with indecent exposure, regadless of whom you are. So no, I don’t expect people to walk down the street with lingerie on where it’s not allowed.
If I wear short shorts, does that give you the right to comment on my body and the way I look? No, it doesn’t.
Either way back on topic, the only thing stopping you from actually putting in the work to get what you need done in game is yourself.
A post from 2013 and it’s opinion. That’s how he felt… doesn’t make it fact. The other quotes are from 2007. None of that matters… they’re dated. Most liked dual spec… just because a few didn’t doesn’t make it a bad thing overall.
Malyah’s gone fishing, Celldwellar.
Don’t get caught!
Most didn’t like dual spec
Ghostcrawler isn’t helpful for lady human bodies.
That probably sounded better in your head.
Yup, in fact this version of TBC also has a double digit number of extra raids to do, LFR, LFD, rated bgs, funboxes for queueing as a tank or healer, switching to any spec any time you want, all classes are given the same tools and ability to self-heal as well so there’s no imbalance. It’s pretty awesome. They have a different name for it but all the TBC content is still there for you to enjoy either way so it’s no different. In fact you might even be able to solo for those warglaives you probably want so bad! Good times.
The argument you quoted is very weak. Boils down to - there have been changes to TBCC already therefore there must be more changes.
There’s literally no causal basis for the claim. Preceding changes form zero justification for future changes.
I wouldn’t say the OP’s position is ‘obliterated’ by this weak argument in the slightest. It’s well worded but baseless and included as “evidence” an interview that basically amounts to WoTLK marketing material. A very weak argument in response to clear evidence and articulation as to why TBC didn’t include dual spec which flows directly into arguments as to why TBCC shouldn’t.
Lol, something from 2007? A lot’s changed since then. Just look at Retail.
Yeah I know - like they’ve since rereleased a game form 2007 …
The OP’s argument was weak because if Blue’s saying no was taken as gospel then we wouldn’t have classic to begin with.
That said, I’m not advocating for changes, I just don’t see this thread as a slam dunk against those that are wanting changes. Also I don’t think we’d see dual spec even if we all agreed for it, so why not spend that “no changes” energy on changes that are likely to happen like against the HvH demands.
It’s not. It is a slam dunk against the argument that the impact of respec costs in TBC was accidental or unintended or that there’s no basis for claiming it was a design choice.
You can make arguments for dual spec still - just not that one.
Essentially it was a design choice so the pro dual spec camp need to demonstrate good reasons why we need to deviate from it now. They can’t simply say “maybe it was an accident that respec costs were so high and we know better now”. They need to confront and argue against the design reasoning behind it.
My argument isn’t weak, I’m showing that the TBC devs wanted the game to be a certain way. No one asked for store mounts, boosts, seals being given to both sides. There was a reason for that and the fact they are deviating from it without the input of the community is a problem.
I’m not going for a slam dunk, I’m just showing that there was significant thought and time put into it even back in 2007 and people want to play the 2007 version of the game, not 2007 with #somechanges
Is 2007 it’s 2021 hate to break it to you but if you’re gonna use that example there’s a whole bunch of other things on that list too.
The biggest one is guess what we’re not the same player base biggest change we are not the same player base we were back in 2007.
And the way the player bases now His dual speck would be helpful very very helpful.
And it’s not going to stop the tank shortage per se but you can’t tell me it’s not going to help.
At least a sum degree
