No Dual Specs - Blue response inside

Nah not a bit.

A lot of Alliance felt the same faction BGs didn’t address the root cause of factional imbalanced servers.

A lot of people think premades are a good thing that fosters co-ordinated pvp and a strong pvp community and that breaking it is killing pvp.

At any rate all these changes were made as “in keeping with the design goals of TBC” - while I think they’re not I also think the current dev team think they are. But Dual spec is not in that class - it is unequivocally not aligned with the design goals of TBC.

So all the current dev team has to say is they feel it’s in the design goals of TBC and it’s fine?

Of course it didn’t - because dual spec was in WoTLK by design. It is at home in WoTLK. They rebalanced classes, and added a lot more non grind content WoTLK. WoTLK =/= TBC. You enjoyed it in Wrath - I did too. It was designed to be in Wrath.

You’ll have the feature soon enough when WoTLK classic comes out.

Which this thread clearly demonstrates is not the case. So, they would have to lie or feign ignorance.

There’s literally no reason for them to do this - they won’t want to make the effort, and it’s better economics not to.

We’re literally cleaning up the dregs of this argument now - it’s been won and lost. Dual spec ain’t happening if Blizzard are to be true to their word or the bottom line.

The current devs haven’t responded regarding dual spec one way or the other.

The current devs have ascribed most of their aspirations to that of the design ethos of TBC, so we can make…at the very least a not ignorant presumption that it’s relevant how actual TBC devs felt.

They don’t need to - it’s not coming until WoTLK. There’s nothing to discuss, it wasn’t in the original game by design intention and so it doesn’t fit #somechanges model. You can basically just assume that you’ll have to wait for WoTLK for it.

I could have just as easily said the same about the pvp changes :stuck_out_tongue:

You know, if this is the one honest thing you said, it might be worth not getting dual spec in TBCC.

Lol this is all this guy does, I blocked him ages ago but daily see other people’s posts with similar comments.

He literally gets called out in every thread for that childish garbage.

never played wrath. never played anything but vanilla and 3 months into TBC in any real capacity. From what i hear alone about Wrath, i have 0 desire to play it. But it’s not just the features, it’s also the players.

This one always plays that card. Likely to prop up a non existent argument, as usual

Only you and Kumasama care about that.

Dozens of people have complained about people posting on retail alts. It’s a very common complaint. You don’t know that because you never bother to read. You just post in total ignorance about what is said here.

Why is this thread still a thing?

I haven’t decided for sure if I will play Wrath. It’s the xpac in which I originally quit, because I didn’t like the new game design direction.

The one thing that might get me to play it is the fact that they have 10-man raids for all content. I like the idea of forming a small, tight-knit guild of friends to play through the raid content. That’s the one innovation that I like about Wrath. The rest of the xpac is inferior to TBC in pretty much every way, IMO.

It’s a complaint made by people when they can’t actually make a valid argument that stands on its own merits.

Yep, when they are losing an argument. You’re right, that happens a lot.

I have similar misgivings about WoTLK. It won’t surprise anyone here to know I’m a fan of old school game design, the idea of identifying strongly with a character in both an RP and game play sense.

However, I probably will play Wrath as it generally has a sense of coming full circle in the WoW “classic” era. It’s also a fun and accessible way to end the classic experiment. Not gonna lie, I loved Ulduar too and would love to do it again for old times sake.

Which is it? You don’t actually know. You just spout what ever crp floats around your brain and comes to the top at the moment.
