Well… I have been upset over a lot for the WOTLK launch, but credit is due.
Blizzard- Thanks for clearing out the Benediction queue. 4 days running with zero queues even over the weekend. Your free transfer thing worked! So glad I didn’t take any transfers.

I am wondering how bad it will get launch day… but Benediction has been losing roughly 1-2k people a day… if that trend continues we might be good for launch… but I am not holding my breath lol

It was 15k, and you can track the decline in queues over time… they started falling when the free transfers started… not sure what you are postulating but it sounds like a tin foil hat conversation.

Sure, they started falling. the point is, if you think 20k+ active players tried to log in, plus thousands on every other server all at once… you’re delusional.
There are a multitude of reasons the queue is gone and blizzard deserves no credit.
Its weird how almost all servers suddenly just didn’t have a queue at the same time imo.
Maybe the degenerates who log in on level 10 toons to troll barrens chat got banned.

I dunno what to say here guys. I am a pretty outspoken critic of the mistakes Blizzard has made including getting us to the point we were a few weeks ago.
BUT… they said they were opening up free transfers… they pushed for people to take them… the queues started dropping immediately. I tracked the data each day… you can’t expect them to take our feedback seriously if you do not point out when issues are fixed and give credit where it is due. You could argue it is the players agreeing to move that were the real heroes. I am simply celebrating no more wait times. (6 hours at its peak OOF)
the queues on benediction, grobbulus and faerlina where i play all disappeared at the same time… the same time I got a patch and the auction house started working again too.

Nope, all those thousands of new players on other servers are blizzard employees, pretending to be players, to cover up that they added more ram to the mega servers, allowing more players on them. My favorite streamer said so.
all those people on 3 different realms all decided last thursday was the last day they needed for prepatch and all stopped logging in at the same time? Sure… They turned off the queue generator
