No Benediction Queue for 4 days

Mad cuz true

GG baby girl

Im not saying what is was or wasnt, who knows. all i do know is that on faerlina i logged into a 7k que that was estimated for little over 2h during prime time, and typically the que increases till the end of the night on faer. about 1.5 hours into playing i got booted off and had to update when i logged back in there was absolutely no que. around the same time bene and a few other servers had no que either. so either 10’s of thousands of players stopped playing in the same 2h, took free xfers they hadnt taken in weeks, or blizz did something they havent told us about. seeing as they COULD increase server capacity and we all know they can because of retail previously doing so, along with them previously doing so in classic. i’m willing to believe that could be a possibility at least more so than 10’s of thousands of people just giving up all at the same time

Wait til you realize its because most have already farmed their Brutal Glad and Justice gear and are now waiting. Sept 26 is going to bring the servers right back to 10k queue.

Its more like queues got bad (a few thousand queue) at first and then people started remote logging and not logging off the entire day making the queues skyrocket to the peak that was around 15k queues. Then came free transfers, many left lowering the queue and since they werent as bad people didnt remote log in and werent logged in forever lowering the queue times.

how do you know that? resources please

Nah, never been on Benediction, been on my full care bear server the whole time. I would never sit in queues to be on an over populated “PvP”server though. I have plenty of cash, and my time is worth something.

Oh they will make sure there are queues on thursday to try and force more transfers so they can get that sweet sweet money when you all transfer back when you realize your server isn’t going anywhere

I’m sure that played a small factor, but it still doesn’t explain the sharp and sudden drop off of 15k-20k+ players on MULTIPLE servers

I don’t think anything got fixed. People just stopped logging in.

I haven’t played for more than ~4 hours in the past week and a half because dealing with queues is a pretty compelling reason for me to not play. If I can’t take a break for dinner and get some fresh air before raid without getting stuck back in a queue… forcing me to stay logged in… yeah… not something I want to endure. I like classic, but I’m not moving to a different server just to start with a new friend circle to avoid this. I’d rather just quit to be honest. So, we’ll see how it goes I guess.

If this continues through Wrath I doubt the population will be any healthier than before. It’ll just be the same but different.

I’ll believe that Blizzard increased server capacity if I see proof of more than 15k on a server at the same time. Proof includes people running those macros that show how many people are logged in. I normally like to find this stuff out for myself but haven’t yet with this. What I’m not going to do is just believe conspiracy theorists without proof. Especially from people who have shown themselves to be highly arrogant.

I love the bot banwave theory. That removing bots helped.

Queues feed themselves. if people think they will be sitting in a queue they are far more likely to AFK, even for hours, and take up that spot.

Note that even when the other 3 mega servers started dropping queues Skyfury still did have some queues.

You should definitely quit supporting this terrible company trying to fleece you. I guess you’re poor, why would you let them make $ off you? Hit them in the Wallet!

That may happen on an individual basis but it wouldn’t happen universally at the same time on the same day across multiple realms.

Oh yeah I’m poor, that’s it… Maybe I don’t want to cut my nose off to spite my face? Maybe I’m not weak willed like the people that transferred back and will pay the money to reverse it in 90 days. It will be a great year end for Blizzard though, kinda impressive really.

I understand that, and I said I love the bot banwave theory which could explain some of the queue drop off at the same time.

Again, show proof of more than 15k online on these servers and I’ll believe that they just increased capacity.

There was no bot banwave lol… They are still all in the same instances, sitting at the AH, and out farming materials. Prices haven’t jumped. There is zero evidence that they banned 20k players per realm

Maybe, im only talking through my experience. I was on Bene and trasfered to sulfuras, 1k queue on Bene was around 30-40min wait time while a 1k queue on sulf was around 7-8min because people didnt just afk inside game all day. Plus they announced closing server transfers so people with FOMO just jumped ship at the last day.

Anyway im not defending blizz (im one of the first to call them out on most things) just putting my experience out there. They should def get their sh1t together and allow higher pop servers in mid2022…
