Christ you’re obsessive. Back off.
I might finally bother doing them atleast on my main.
If you’re AFK in the heroic darkshore warfront, maybe that’s why it’s taking so long… if you’ve been doing cloak upgrades every week you should be able to sleepwalk through a full clear Horrific Vision at this point.
2 weeks ago you “weren’t bothering with” corruption.
But suddenly today you are amazed corruption “wasn’t like this at launch.”
Which is it?
Stop posting for likes. I call out BS when I see it because posters like you ruin the actual good feedback the devs get here.
Calling me creepy and posting memes is not a valid retort.
In any case, I am done because I’ve made my point. People here post what they think others want to read, even when they have zero clue about the topic being discussed.
There’s “playing the game” and then there’s doing the same thing over and over again if you happen to want to do anything serious with an alt. As if somehow wanting to play another toon is bad.
When you are forced down a specific step-by-step questline with (if I recall correctly) only 2 spots where you can skip small segments of it, in order to be able to do what you’ve done numerous times before - that doesn’t equate to fun for me.
What would have been fair is if you could meet Magni and have the option to go straight to Wrathion for the final segment to get the dragon scale for your cloak because all the other “champions” had already set the ball rolling for the chamber power ups. Or would that have been just too hard to code?
Oh wait…its good for the investors, right, to see all those hours played. Popcorn gaming, that’s all it is.
Once you’ve seen Blizzard do this kind of thing enough times the pattern is obvious. Glad they’re making this change though. Just wish they’d get off of this “release bad, drip out the good to extend.”
That said, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt right now because it does seem like leadership has pulled almost everyone to Shadowlands and left a skeleton crew on BfA. Maybe they really did want to do this at release but couldn’t get it through development in time with a reduced team.
This change means I will pay more attention to visions on my main, since I can now do up to 8 rolls for corruption every week. That’s a big deal and it should also take away the BoE market that is out of control atm.
But it also makes alts even more difficult. It adds another serious grind on top of 8 other grinds. So I think a few weeks of extra gaming now with the main, but still a serious drought coming before Shadowlands. Players have been telling you this for weeks on the forums.
We’ve heard from many players that Corrupted items were not obtainable enough, limiting their ability to play with the system and its inherent tradeoffs.
Can we not pretend like this wasn’t part of your roadmap since before you even released the patch? You guys do this every time. You release a bunch of horribly RNG-laden / timegated mechanics out into the wild because you know that no matter what most players will beat a patch to death on release. After a few weeks when your numbers wane, you start rolling out these QOL changes and pretend like it’s in response to player feedback. You’ve done this so many times that it’s very obviously not the case, so please spare us.
Maybe next time you guys can actually listen to the feedback that people are screaming at you with during beta and actually implement it on patch launch so we can all enjoy ourselves a bit more. I really don’t understand this theory you guys seem to be stuck under that giving us up front QOL things like this means we won’t stick around as long and will have our characters feeling “complete” too quickly. I want nothing more than a bag full of awesome Corruption options to throw myself at content with. It actually feels like an RPG again with all the gearing options and decisions I have to make depending on the content I’m doing-- the problem is that it’s taken entirely too long to get to this point of customization and enjoyment and the path has been filled with getting 3x Avoidance Corruption belts out of my weekly chest as a Rogue and not a single T3 Infinite Stars or Twilight Devastation.
It reminds me of Benthic gear really. Doing the Nazjatar quests day after day to get the currency to buy Benthic gear in the hope that the next robe/legs/shoes whatever will come with the beneficial effect that you want.
Except now its doing Horrific Visions over and over in the hope that you will get the corrupted gear with the beneficial effect that you want.
So one level of “roll the dice for the gear” has been removed while the other level of “roll the dice for the effect” stays in place.
Same principle, just remashed, relabelled and reused.
Imagination, not seen ingame since I forget when…
Remember in Legion when we were doing old outdated content that dropped gear absolutely nobody wanted every single week just for a chance at a random legendary?
At least this isn’t that.
like usual, whenever a change is made, even if its one to improve one thing in the game, people whine and cry, jesus
YAY! One more reason to not do visions!
(wiggles with glee and munches on cookies)
This is such a great change! Vision are my favorite content at the moment.
I just pictured this as the Gordan Ramsay meme.
Still waiting for islands to get improved.
Maybe they’ll be in a playable state by the expansion after Shadowlands.
You don’t need to do the dailys, just do the assaults and the daily lesser vision. I have rank 14 cape and I haven’t touched the dailies in weeks.
As for the solo part, I purposely blow my vessels on no mask full clear runs to help out the guild healers. Maybe you just need to find a nice little DH what will do the same for yourself.
I got a ? what does it take to get ilvl 450 rewards in visions?
Lag is going to be at an entirely new level haha
Just 1 mask. Its faceroll easy.
Thank you for that info also how do you get a mask anyways ill probably check info out later then.
