Next Special Class to be Cloth?

On top of that, a true support would be an instant, and guaranteed balance nightmare for blizzard.

Gentlemen gentlemen, the answer is simple. An archaeologists class. Reno jackson in the flesh. Wielding a talent tree of artifacts from the stories we’ve been through and thrown away. Bit whakcy i know, but with a bit of brainstorming and elbow grease it would be a cool class. Spose that would mean we’d be getting some sorta archeology expansion. Wouldnt have to be a massive big bad enemy involved for once that we magically stop and forget about his sword.

Idk. Necromancer woulda been the obvious cloth, but if shadowlands didnt give us that i dunno what will

I hope next class thats special uses bows/guns & warglaives. I just dont like the idea that loot exists that can fill only 1 class. Both of those look good for another mail class.

With 3/4/3/3 (cloth leather mail plate) the ‘armor balance’ is pretty good, so next armor type can be freakin anything and be fine by me

After DH and Evokers y’all still want them to try to add a new class?

Spell blade. A mage that uses magic to form armor about oneself and empower their melee strikes. Can have a tank and DPS spec.

This is not my idea. I’ve seen the suggestion that Shadow for Priests be replaced with a Holy based damage specialization. Shadow would become its own class with different types of DPS specializations that are related to the Void. It’s sort of a new class, but not really. Would make sense if Blizzard ever did a Light versus Shadow expansion.

They will have a new toy a boombox

Unholy? :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

I want a Shadow and Frost themed cloth caster, not a plate based melee class. Necromancer fits the bill. As someone else said, if Paladins and Priests can coexist, so can Death Knights and Necromancers.

Tinkerer. Sorry clothies, next class probably going to be mail as well. 3 cloth, 4 leather, 3 mail, 3 plate.

Something needs to compete with hunters on bows, guns and/or crossbows. Tinkerer’s fit pretty damn well. Give them a tank spec, where they suit up into a mech with different talents offering different “parts” of the mech to give them wide utility. A chain-hook thing that functions similarly to death grip.

A dps spec focused on bombs, guns (or bows/crossbows) and turrets (Like searing totem - or whatever its called - but more prevalent in gameplay). Possibly a healing spec that also makes use of turrets.

Conjurer, a cloth wearing melee class that dps’s with various conjured weapons that work like stances and tanks using conjured armour and reflected damage, various skills like warriors spell reflection, but for physical too. Don’t know if it would work, but it would be different

Nope! It has to be a physical ranged DPS. We already have too many tanks/healers/casters/melee DPS, but we only have 1 physical ranged DPS aka hunter. And they would also use mail armor. Or leather.

Yeah but be prepared to have a cloth class take a major setback in order to boost the hero class.

Rift has Harbingers which are melee battlemages. I’d like to see spellbreakers with a Harbinger type skillset.

Another cloth class is long overdue, they’ve not added anything from that armor class to the game since vanilla released.

Sylvanas actually was the one to recruit them, not the Horde. Sylvanas was the one who sent them to there deaths. It is extremely unlikely they’ll join anyone.

That’s (Astrologer) literally a Balance Druid.
They use moon, sun and stars as they attack and have a glyph for astral form.

Arcane mages are a close second.

You really think Blizzard has this as a priority?

You lot keep thinking like players. You need to see this game as Blizzard now sees it. A Business to make money.

Ranged melee DPS.

Actually the real gear sharing that needs to happen is for ranged weapons. I think there is a particular class of a tinker variety that might fill that role.

Could be a Chemist. Like the ones in Ragnarok Online. Have a pet and do various AoE damage with pets n potions. Its class raid buff is increase effects of all consumables by 5% (flasks, phials, potions, food, etc.) Creates pools that negate swirlies on the ground and buff those that stand within or pass through them. CC oriented. Could be heals/supports, DPS, Tank. Make it where you dont mitigate damage to yourself by buffing urself or shields/etc. You just add debuffs to enemy that specifically negate% of dmg in different ways other than just saying “do -80%dmg when attacking tank”, when targeting you while in Tank spec. Lol i donno… i am just talkin out my behind… but it may work. Ide play it.
