Sorta overplayed. Everyones waiting for Bolvar to melt or something.
Thats what I dont get about people. They seem to think Bolvar cant break out of that icy prison himself. After all, he was the one who made it. Its clear that he has command over the frozen winds of Northrend like dks do. He isnt stuck, he just chooses to remain there so as to not lose himself and use the scourge against the world. He is restraining himself, but at the same time, he holds the key and the lock is right there in front of him. If he wanted to escape and do something, he would.
That’s more likely add closure to the dragons plotline than open up some new fangled plot for what basically sounds like demon hunters but with dragons theme wise.
He’s definitely up to something. Dudes suspicious as hell.

He’s slowly starting to break his own rules, slowly enough he’s gonna get out of that ice block and start wandering around.

And I cant wait for it to happen. It will probably be soon too with all of the shady stuff Sylvannas is doing. She could be going to war against the other big leaders of the force of death. Helya, Bwansomdi, Bolvar. Hey, what about Kel’Thuzad? We never did destroy his phylactery. He isn’t dead yet.

Yeah, but who knows what they’re planning with the Dragon Isles as well as the Twilight and Infinite flights.
Seems there’s even some more stuff with the reds and greens coming up soon.
I don’t expect to see any Dragonsworn either, but more dragon stuff is on the horizon.
Seems to be a thing…new Lich King host…he cocoons in ice for a while.
Death does seem to be a big theme too.

That Void dragon that was datamined was interesting, too. Maybe Wrathion, following in his forefathers’ footsteps, is doing a little experimentation of his own. Maybe even tying into all this Death and Void stuff…

Still relevant. I sincerely doubt we’ll see Necromancers, Bards or Tinkers. If not Dragonsworn, it’ll be something else. We need something unexpected to shake up how formulaic and predictable the game has become.
We are literally guarding the heart of Azeroth, I think we are trustable enough.

I mean, look how hopeless and desperate Ysera’s daughter is. She was begging for help. She’d totally be down for it (Druids are also technically Dragonsworn already, too).

Still relevant a year later.
Having gone through some of the Night Fae campaign, I think it speaks volumes that even when we’re not even in the same plane of reality, the developers are putting in the effort to check in with our dragon friends. Ysera is even the focal point of an entire zone!
Aside from the main cast, who else are we checking in with in the other factions?
Even if this doesn’t necessarily point toward Dragonsworn as a class, I do believe that it will lead to an expansion. Maybe the Dragon Isles, maybe the Dragonflights serve as our Khadgar/Magni/Bolvar for the next foray against the Void or Light or whatever else.
Keldar has major necro powers and should be feared! 
But seriously what ever gets us back to azeroth! I don’t want to be an inter galactic/cosmic warrior… 
Isn’t there a fabled dragon islands that we could go to?? Possibly!?
I mean, maybe I shouldn’t be making the case for the Necromancer class here, just for the potential on the general forums. I guarantee you that Troll Necromancers would become the default forum alt of choice. 
But yeah, I fear that we’re losing too much of the connective tissue to the roots of the franchise. I want to see the lore evolve and progress instead of simply being added to every two years. There is a distinction, there. I am liking Shadowlands, mechanically, but honestly… it reminds me of MoP where I felt like I was in a different MMO thematically.
They seem to be trying to bandaid that issue with characters like Uther and Ysera… but that’s not enough overall to feel like we are fight for azeroth. I suppose we will see.
